Fantastic hotel with small pool and garden and view of the Pyramids.Down side on a busy roundabout where people played football til two in the morning and a constant rush of traffic all honking their horns as only the Egyptians know how.An experience to say the least.

We love Cairo and have been before so was prepared. Last time we stayed at the Conrad International - which was fab in every way.... this time one of our party wanted to stay in the Geeza district. The hotel is tired, the rooms are small, bathrooms smelly and small and to get water or milk in the rooms you...

Not five star. Reception and public areas were nice, Good breakfast however a bit hectic if there is a tour group there at the same time. Service was mixed. Avoid the in house taxi get the concierge to organise one for you. Carpets in corridors were tatty. Pool closed for renovation. Despite what some people say its fine to walk...

Beautifully appointed rooms with their own private sun verandahs which face toward the well laid out and maintained gardens, as well as a view of the pyramids. The hotel exudes a relaxed atmosphere and charm. Boasting an outdoor roof top dining area, several indoor restaurants to chose from, an extensive pool area and a variety of shops - just the...

I stayed there as of a fifth day of my honeymoon. I took taxi from airport and found that taxi drivers had difficulty in finding the hotel. We were exhausted after wandering around the hotel and lobby. There was only one clerk at the counter. My room was Pyramids view. I had expected to watch the light and sound show...

We got a steal on this hotel, and wanted to be in a quiet part of Cairo when we started our trip. It is rated as a 5 star, but in reality is far from it. Realistically I would say that it should be a 3.5 star. I have no doubt it was a 5 star at one point, but...

I take groups on spiritual journeys twice a year to Egypt. We start and end our trip staying at the Sofitel Le Sphinx. I personally like it because it is right next to the pyramids and smaller than the Le Meridian - I prefer a more intimate environment when working with my groups. There are nice places for our group...
