I was a guest of this property for two days during a business trip and can just say that this is one of the best hotels of Egypt. From the moment of check in the staff were extremely friendly and treated us like their valued guests. Accommodation, food and services, everything is great here. My stay was wonderful and I...

Looked at in the round, this is great value for money. Large suite-size rooms, balconies with Nile views, clean well-appointed and well-functioning bathrooms and it's well located for quick taxi rides to places like Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo, Tahrir Square and Zamalek. There's also an excellent string of moored boat restaurants on the opposite bank just over the bridge. There's...

I know this hotel had some good reviews and that is why we stayed there, however we were extremely disappointed with it. The hotel reception booking agent Mohammed confirmed with me a week before arrival, about price, availability etc etc. The night before we traveled i rang Cairo again and was told the room we wanted was now not available!!!!!...

Right on the Nile with a good view. Arrived at night collected by Mohammed the hotel driver and guide. Hotel very dated to the 40- 50's in decor but very clean. Rooms basic old furniture but adequate. Staff very friendly. Arranged trip to pyramids with Mohammed the driver who took care of everything - recommend if you want to get...

Wake up to Nile flowing past your balcony, the decor dates back to 50s but clean and your made to feel welcome. If your going to see the pyrimids leave yourself in the capable hands of Mohamoud the hotels own guide/driver,a bit different to the coach tours!!! Gives you a small taste of the real Cairo...

The hotel is right on the Nile and close to shop and restaurants. The decor is a bit dated but the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The food from the hotel restaurant is tasty and very reasonably priced. Overall great value.

I stayed for around a month on a business trip. When I first entered I was hesitant due to the old furniture and not very welcome atmosphere. However I was on a strict budget. Later on, what made me stick in is the great hospitality from the staff, they will do their best to help you out. There are different...

Pros - I did extensive research for a good view of the Nile at a reasonable price. This place was by far the best deal. It is close to Christian Cairo and has a main street with shops and food nearby. The hotel restaurant was good and gave nice room service. Hotel was clean but not fancy. If you want...

“Ask for a high floor with a Nile view. It's Cairo, so there will be noise until 2am regardless so put up with the party boats on the river but at least get the view (the back will still get the noise!).”
