Renovated hotel, so it's a little more modern. Large room with a suitcase holder, air conditioning, TV, minibar, closet, and sofas.
The bathroom is spacious, but the shower has very weak water, and there were days when there was even less water. The shower drain was also blocked, and there are no hooks to hang towels, whether for face or bath.
There is a restaurant where breakfast is also served, which is ok, there is fruit (little variety), 1 artificial fruit juice, savory and sweet breads, cold cuts, hot options too, and they make omelets to order.
The elevator is still very old and small.
Hairdryer and towel need to be requested at reception.
There is a balcony, which offers a great view of the neighborhood.
The location is good, just a few minutes from the main street with several restaurant options, shops and also some supermarkets and pharmacies.

They welcomed us kindly and made an effort to understand our language, since we do not speak English very well. Furthermore, the receptionist accepted our request for a room with a view of the Nile. The breakfast buffet was varied and of quality. And the room service was good and clean. It is advisable to bring a hairdryer, since the rooms do not have one, although in case you forget it, they will provide it there.

The hotel is located in the relatively quiet embassy district. People are used to tourists here, so you can walk around here perfectly on your own. There are also many restaurants within walking distance and even a fairly large cinema.
From the outside, the hotel doesn't look like much, but that's often the case in Egypt, except for those typical all-in hotels on the Red Sea.
Inside, however, it is fine and cared for.
Breakfast was tasty and varied. The staff was also very friendly
Our room and the bed were very okay. Only the shower left something to be desired with a very weak water jet. But otherwise everything was fine!

Really nice hotel with very friendly staff.
The rooms were large and clean. Nice buffet breakfast and lovely staff at the restaurant. Special shoutout to Ibrahim and Ali, two of the nicest hotel staff you will meet. The location is excellent for safety due to lots of international schools and embassies, I felt safe walking at night and enjoying the restaurants. the surrounding area has lots of shopping and food options. it’s about 20-30mins drive away from most tourist places (which is good by Cairo traffic standards). We were really glad we chose zamalak and extra glad we chose this hotel.

This is my second stay in the hotel. The location is in one of the most prestigious areas in Egypt. The district is considered the saturation point of embassies and consulates making it the top residential area for diplomats. The cafes and boutiques are around and you can enjoy walking around. The hotel has a small lobby & 2 elevators. The rooms either with balcony which is a good choice that overlook embassies and gardens, while other rooms has windows that overlook schools which is noisy till noon. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Mr Shireef & Basiony at front desk. The house keeping are very attentive, especially Dea’a & Eman. Rooms need more care in terms of cleaning dust.beds & sheets are clean. Pillows are a bit hard.Laundry is done outside the hotel but ironing is in the hotel. A very tasty restaurant is at 11 th floor & a bar is at the entrance of the second expansion of the hotel. I like to stay un this hotel coz it is cozy and not crowded & hope they consider my notes regarding cleaning.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your insights and experiences from your second stay with us. We are delighted to hear that you found the hotel cozy and enjoyed the unique atmosphere of our prestigious location in one of Egypt’s most distinguished neighborhoods. Your description of the area truly captures its charm, and we’re glad you’ve had the opportunity to explore the nearby cafes, boutiques, and green spaces during your walks. We appreciate your kind words about our staff, particularly Mr. Shireef, Basiony at the front desk, and Dea’a & Eman from housekeeping. Their dedication and attentiveness are a testament to the high standards we aim to uphold, and we will ensure they receive your praise directly—it means a great deal to them! Regarding your notes on room cleanliness and dust, we sincerely thank you for bringing this to our attention. While we pride ourselves on maintaining clean and comfortable rooms, your feedback highlights areas where we can improve. We will reinforce our cleaning protocols to ensure every corner of the room meets our guests' expectations. As for the pillows, we’ll also consider ways to enhance comfort while keeping quality intact. Your observation about noise levels in certain rooms is noted, and we understand how important peace and quiet are during a stay. Although some rooms overlook schools, which may be noisier during certain hours, we’ll explore potential solutions to minimize disturbances for future guests. Lastly, we’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our restaurant on the 11th floor and appreciated the tasty meals served there. It’s always rewarding to know our culinary team is leaving a positive impression. Once again, thank you for choosing our hotel and for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We value your input immensely and are committed to making improvements based on your suggestions. We hope to welcome you back soon and provide an even more enjoyable experience next time. Warm regards,

The location of the hotel was good – it’s in the embassy area and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We found the staff very friendly. There was one elevator only. We stayed in two separate one, one with single king bed and one with two single beds. The one with a single king bed faced the garden which was quiet. There was a long working bench behind the bed and power outlet on both side of the bed. The other room with two single beds faced the street, and was more spacious than the one with a single king bed. The twin bed room was noisy with noise coming from the restaurants next to the hotel until late. In this month, there was scheduled outage of electricity from 8-9pm, and this hotel went completely dark, as it had no backup power for the room. We stayed for two nights and in the first night we sat in the lobby of its sister hotel next door for an hour, and on the second night we went out for dinner. The room in this hotel actually was newer than its sister hotel next door, and the beds more comfortable.

This is a nice hotel with nice modern rooms in a relatively quiet neighborhood. At breakfast, the chef will make you a fresh omelette with many options and there is also an extensive buffet. The cozy restaurant offers you a delicious lunch or dinner.
The very best thing about this hotel, however, is the staff. You really feel like a welcome guest here because everyone is nice and helpful. Because our train to Luxor only left in the evening, a room for the day was arranged for us (room 402 has a large balcony and a lovely shower).
The President Hotel is highly recommended!

Had a wonderful experience at the President Hotel - so much so that I stayed a week longer than expected. The staff was always attentive and treated me like family. The food was delicious at the restaurant and solid room service options available 24/7. A highlight was the Nev Spa on the ground floor - the Thai massages were phenomenal and became a part of my daily routine. Highly recommend the President Hotel!

Stayed for a week in Cairo at President Hotel with breakfast included. We had a view towards the Nile which was very nice and all the rooms are on the top floors. Breakfast was quite nice where they can make all sorts of eggs on the spot, and if you have an early excursion before they open, they are also able to make breakfast boxes for you. Attentative and friendly staff, and Abd Elhalim in the reception was very helpful in organising a new tour within an hour when our travel agency cancelled our trip to Alexandria on the day.

Rooms are quite okey, though cleaning could be a bit better considering we were there for 7 days. First on the 6th day our floors were properly cleaned and linen were changed. All in all a good stay with value for the money! Zamalek is a nice and very safe area where you can walk around on your own without any issues 😊

180$ per night for a very small normal room !!
No breakfast included!
Booked at this hotel for 3 nights, when I reached the hotel and saw how small and normal the room is for such fee, I went directly to the reception and told them I wanna cancel the reservation cz It’s not what I expected. They said okay no prob but there is a cancellation fee which is 122$, so If you want you can stay the night and pay the fee so you won’t lose it.
We stayed me and my friend, the second day they come and say we need 67$ more !!!
So basically the room is for 190$ (more than its own price) !!!!!!!!

Thank you for your inquiry. The President Hotel and the New President Hotel are indeed owned by the same group; however, they are managed separately with different staff. This allows each property to offer a unique experience while maintaining the same high standards. The New President Hotel consists of 20 rooms and is located at the correct address of 20 Taha Hussein Street. In contrast, the President Hotel comprises 105 rooms, situated on higher floors, providing a different ambiance and experience. While both hotels uphold our commitment to quality and service, their distinct setups contribute to the varied experiences reflected in their reviews and ratings. We hope this information helps, and we look forward to welcoming you to one of our properties soon. Best regards, eCommerce Department
