If you’re looking for an excellent location in Cairo, this is your hotel. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t that great.. Our room had a lot of problems; they had to change the TV and the refrigerator for us. Also, the bathroom needed some plumbing work and the sink was leaking. It is somewhat clean and the staff is lovely.

We spent four nights at the Presidential Hotel Cairo in May 2023. The hotel exceeded my expectations; we received a free upgrade; the room was spacious, clean, and modern; and the breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was the services offered by the tour agency located in the hotel lobby; we went there after our pre-arranged tour of Luxor was abruptly cancelled. We booked with them a guided tour of the pyramids. Our driver/tour guide didn't speak much English, so when we arrived at the pyramids, he didn't offer us the guided tour; instead, he pointed us in the direction of some touts, for whom we had to pay more money. When a complaint was made to the hotel, the on-duty manager claimed that the tour operator was a separate company, however, credit to him he was helpful he arranged for a partial refund and got the tour operator to apologise. The remaining trips we purchased with GetYourGuide or Viator went smoothly,

This was my first time in Cairo. I travel solo and this hotel is very clean, professional, and accommodating. The best part is the bar in the basement named: The Cairo Cellar. It has a awesome lounge/pub vibe and very good food & drinks and good energy and atmosphere. This place is a good place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. If I ever come back to Cairo. I will definitely be coming back to The President Hotel and especially The Cairo Cellar. I highly recommend it 👌

I spent a total of 5 (3+2) nights in this hotel over a period of 9 days with a family of 4, using 2 rooms each time. The first 3 nights were in the old wing of the hotel, with non renovated rooms, the last 2 nights in the newer area, with renovated rooms. The hotel is located in Zamalek island, a nice safe area with embassies and a lot police around (I felt safe walking around at all hours). It does have a restaurant but we only tried it for breakfast and it was very good. The rooms were standard, with good beds and bathrooms, ok toiletries and no hair dryer (but they easily will provide one for you if needed). The newer rooms looked nicer with better bathroom fixtures and floors. Reception service was always kind and available for all questions. Overall a good experience with a great location for Cairo.

Pleasant 3 night stay at the President. In a quiet and interesting area of Cairo. Short walk to metro station(green line). Prepaid for breakfast, which was worth it. No annoyances or complaints. Staff was friendly.

President Hotel Cairo Cairo Good mid range The hotel is in the best area, Zamalek. Modern rooms are fine. The guest manager, Mohammed Fathy turned to be very kind and helpful. We used an excellent guide, Khaled Abdo( (002)01227448749) through the hotel. He was full of information , reliable and spoke English. He was a good find, in our exploration of such as the Pyramids, the Coptic Area and the Egyptian Museum.

Our experience at President Hotel was mostly positive. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself has good amenities to take advantage of. But it requires some improvement, particularly in the room. It had a slightly dated feel, but biggest problem was the lack of hot water in the shower. Made for some sub-zero washing which wasn’t ideal. It’s value for money, but be wary of possible issues.

I stayed here for almost one month; great experience; all the staff were super friendly and super helpful and very polite. The room was clean, and the space had good energy. The manager of La Terrace, Rasha, and all the staff there were very welcoming and helpful. The location in Zamalek was excellent, close to many things, and safe. Great experience and I will defiantly come back.

Stayed for a week in Cairo at President Hotel with breakfast included. We had a view towards the Nile which was very nice and all the rooms are on the top floors. Breakfast was quite nice where they can make all sorts of eggs on the spot, and if you have an early excursion before they open, they are also able to make breakfast boxes for you. Attentative and friendly staff, and Abd Elhalim in the reception was very helpful in organising a new tour within an hour when our travel agency cancelled our trip to Alexandria on the day. Rooms are quite okey, though cleaning could be a bit better considering we were there for 7 days. First on the 6th day our floors were properly cleaned and linen were changed. All in all a good stay with value for the money! Zamalek is a nice and very safe area where you can walk around on your own without any issues 😊
