We stayed at this property for 4 night the room had an amazing view of that part of Cairo the staff was unbelievable friendly and knowledgeable always ready to assist you and look after your travel needs we had breakfast every morning at the Buffett restaurant great food and service as well overall great hotel and I will definitely stay at this property in my next visit to Cairo Egypt. I most add that this hotel was extremely clean with a great decor. Thanks to all staff and management.

I totally enjoyed my stay at Tolip Golden Plaza hotel. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was most helpful, responsive and polite. Breakfast could not have been better, with a very large set of delicious food items.

We recently visited Cairo for 2 days and stayed at Tolip Golden Plaza Hotel. It is a beauty hotel with an impressive entrance and lovely lobby. The dining hall was huge and very well decorated and the breakfast spread was limitless and fresh! The hotel room itself was well decorated and comfortable. On the whole the interior could do with some TLC as the carpets looked worn and in need of a deep clean. The bathroom wasm no large and lovely but once again could do with some anti mould spray and a good scrub. Our view from the room was wonderful, overlooking a really beautiful swimming pool area.
The staff were friendly and very obliging and I cannot complain about the service. I would definitely stay there again. So keep in mind however that because the hotel uses a private entrance, Uber drivers have great difficulty finding it.

We flew from Sharm to Cairo for a few days and wanted to book something luxury so I booked 1 night here to see if we liked it and I was glad I didn’t book more. Firstly arriving the only nice staff were security as reception had poor people skills and there was no effort to greet us. We went up to our room to find even more disappointment as it was dirty but given the unwelcoming atmosphere we decided to put up with it for 1 night and find something else. Food behind to main door, chain lock broken. Smudges on all the glass and dirty underneath the removable lids. Booked no smoking but there was an astray in our room. The photos on their website are mis leading of the quality you recieve. Sleep was okay beds were fine but WIFI they advertise is poor and you need some sound on due to the traffic noise outside. We asked to use the spa but was told no its being renovated which was annoying as thats a big part of why we booked and given the price seemed not good value for money. Breakfast was underwhelming compared to what we were used to in Sharm, no staff to even help you carry drinks and the staff that were there were too busy on their phones and seemed annoyed if you asked for help to find even butter. The choices were very basic at best and we had to make our own coffee’s, I could hear other guests shared my opinion on breakfast. I would not stay here again as I don’t feel it reflects a true 5* stay.

Golden plaza offers comfortable accommodations, but at a high cost. Service is hit or miss, and additional charges for parking and some services can add up. The breakfast is average, the quality of food is average. If you're willing to splurge for comfort, this hotel may suit you, but those seeking better value and a standout breakfast experience should consider other options.

The hotel cancelled our booking without informing us even though our booking was still valid on expedia website!! We had to rebook again on expedia on the spot and the receptionist was soo rude and didnt even apologize for the confusion. Also, the staff is soo greedy for tips, there was no coffee creamer in our room and we asked for reception to deliver but they took too long and we had to checkout in morning ,and the worker was mad we didnt take creamer and pay him a tip :/ and he complained to reception about this and receptionist said why didnt u call me at midnight to order some creamer? Ehh because we are sleeping then and who drinks coffee at midnight?? Anyways this was an uncomfortable one night we had to stay at this cheap hotel with bad staff. Also our room smelled and there was no toiled paper. 👎👎

Rooms were OK, clean and decent size. We were very disappointed by the restaurant service and the quality of food. There were no clean tables and we had to clean them ourselves and hunt for cutlery. All the food tasted bland. Noone came to ask us for drinks and we had to chase a waiter to get the kids something to drink. In the end, I ordered 2 espressos to one waiter, he took my money and never came back with the coffee.

Nowhere near a 5 star hotel ! Our tour company booked us into this hotel as we were visiting from a cruise and had a one night stay in Cairo. Very poor welcome and then directed us to our room which despite being a non smoking room clearly had smokers staying there before us. The hotel is dry ( no alcohol served ) and the food served at dinner was pretty dire to say the least. So if you like a beer or glass of wine, don’t stay here !

Customer service is not as expected at all . Room is clean. A call for slipper responded in 2 hours.
