Stayed here for 8 nights with some friends. It was a perfect central spot to be in Cairo. Close to Museum, the Nile, Subway and restaurants. The breakfast was decent, they were always available for us if we needed them. Rooms were cleaner than expected given the shape the building was in. Good water pressure and hot water worked in all of our rooms. Nice common area to sit and talk, it was a great way for us to unwind after a day in the city.
This place is a hidden gem. Once you are inside it is so quiet and airy that you wont believe you are in The very centre of Cairo and you are right in the down town area so excellent location and transport links for whatever you want to do.
I had a private room with bathroom and it was nothing glamorous, just a room with the basics for what you need. No shampoo/conditioner is included in the room so make sure you bring your own if need be. Soap and toilet paper is available from reception. There wasn't a safe in the room, but nobody goes in to clean or anything unless you ask and the rooms are able to be locked with a key. WiFi doesn't reach all the rooms, but it works well in the common area by the reception desk. One of my best memories is hanging out in the common area talking with the people who work at the hotel - lovely and very friendly staff who were always helpful with any questions I had. Great location, close to the main sights of Cairo and it is fair for what you pay.
Rated 4 because of the price and great service, but know the quality of the rooms is just ok. In a great location to get places and eat. Can get a view of the Nile as well. See this as a hostel not hotel.
Rooms were clean and the service was great. The location is perfect to get to all Cairo has to offer. Many good food places near by and the Metro is just steps away. Noise of Tahrir Square can be a little noisy at times.
