Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighborhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and
Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighborhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighborhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.

If this is the policy of the hotel of no luggage assistance. It is fine with me. But I am not aware of this policy because it is my first time there. Next time, I will remember there are carts near the entrance of the hotel that I can use. What I am really trying to say is that they should be more helpful and thoughtful when your guest is in need, like the staff that helps a lady bring down her luggages. They can just be helpful and remind us of their no luggage assistance policy. I travel a lot too, specially to Seoul and Busan because of business. Maybe it is just that I am not used to this kind of treatment. Maybe it is one of my unlucky days. But I still won't give up on this hotel because, to be honest with you, i find some other staffs nice and friendly. Maybe they just stick too much on rules and policy and forget helping guest who are in need. Hopefully my next trip and when I stay in this hotel, I will be more appreciative of their service.
