We stayed in a family room, room was adequate, small fridge in the room, beds were comfortably, we dropped something so had to move the bed, it was obvious that the cleaners do not clean under the beds as there was all sorts of rubbish under the bed including pills of some kind. Also in the evenings you can here road noise from passing traffic, it wasn't unbearable though. Breakfast was buffet style, also a chef was cooking pancakes and fried eggs, there was orange juice, milk, coffee and tea available, 2 toasters operating, there was breads, butter, cream cheese and jam, there was also some fruit, overall I thought that the breakfast was good. There was also a small shop on the ground floor which was open late, in my opinion, it was good value for money and fine for a short stay.

I stayed at this hotel during a school trip last September. The location is really strategic, near to 2 subway station (Jamsil-naru and Mongchontoseong). Only few blocks away from Lotte Mall in Jamsil and Seokcho lake. Also, if you want to go to Olympic Gymnasium or Olympic World Peace gate you can just walk for approximately few hundreds meters away.

The room is quite spacious and they refill the amenities everyday. Coffee, tea, mineral water are all complimentary. The bed is good, not comfortable but not bad enough. The ahjummonim cleaned our rooms every day so thank you so much for keeping our rooms clean!

About the breakfast, they served various kinds of breakfast from american breakfast to korean breakfast. They also served some yakult which is pretty rare for me, but overall the taste is great! However i think the space for breakfast is not big enough since my event at that time had about 150 participants with staffs and during breakfast time it was always so hard to find a place to sit.

The ballroom is quite spacious and they have lots of varieties of buffet menu which is really great and tastes good. Overall, it was a great experience staying in this hotel.

Very good hotel as well as Centrally located. Hotel was bit expensive but location is fabulous. I got river and garden view from my room. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Hotel staff is also very co-operative , well dressed and friendly. They provided free breakfast to me. Overall, it is a very good business hotel and it was very nice experience. I recommend this hotel.

I was told when I bought my tour that I was going to stay at a 4 stars hotel. When I arrived Seoul Olympic Parktel, they gave us a room for triple, because my family had my mom, my sis and I. We were put in a room which has 2 beds with an additional "bed". It was like .. an iron pattern which covered by a thin blanket. The sharp iron that hit me when I laid on that "bed". The service was poor. The attitude of the "desk man" was unacceptable. I suggested you guys should never waste money on a hotel like this. I felt like I'd been treated. However, after our argument and help from my lead-tour , we were moved to another room after that night, which was better with the bed problems.
Never going to stay there again.

Travelled in a group, the room was too small and nothing to see around the hotel and the nearest place for shopping is lotte world which 2 km away.
No convinience store, but they do provide water dispenser and too many young student stayed and i think that it was me and my group stayed there at the time.
Advice, prepare your snacks before entering the hotel and enjoy the hotel.

The Seoul Olympic Parktel is nicely situated in the former Olympic Park. It can be easily reached from the airport, because bus No. 6006 from Incheon Int'l Airport stops right in front of the Olympic Parktel (the ride from the airport takes 90 minutes, but the bus runs every 15 - 20 minutes and costs only 11000 Won !!). The rooms are spacious and the view especially from the upper floors is very nice! Breakfast is unfortunately not included, and WLAN costs extra. A safe is also missing in the room (safe deposit boxes available freely at the reception).
To get to the city center by subway (a station is not very far from the hotel) takes quite long (45 Minutes), because you have to change subways at least once or twice. On the other hand, there is a very nice restaurant area very close to the hotel, so that for a good dinner you do not need to go to the city center. Taxis are also quite cheap but also take some time especially when traffic is slow.

Location of the hotel is about 10km away from Gangnam area.
Subway is not near as you will have to walk about 1.5km.
There is restaurant at the Piece Gate park, but not much choices.
If you want to find some local Korean restaurant you will need to walk across around 2-3km. You can find pretty good restaurant behind the streets behind the Church around that area. They call it the Eating Streets.

Lotte World Mall is 3-4km away, walkable in the when the time i went was early March around 11-18 degrees C.

I would not recommend to stay in this hotel if you come to Seoul for traveling or shopping.

I traveled here with 9 other students and the school's director. On the day of our arrival, after briefing my students about their rooms and some ground rules, I asked for one of the staff members to help us with our bags. He simply watched me walk to my bag and laughed. I asked once more for him to bring the bags up, and this time he shook his head while speaking to another staff member in Korean. being tired from my flight, I decided to take matters into my own hands and started to march up to the front desk. When he saw this, he hurried to his feet and lifted the bags onto the trolley.
After we all checked in, three of my boys that shared a room called me to say that their room was very dirty, the bedsheets were dusty and corners of the ceiling had spiderwebs in them. I went to see this for myself and they were right. whats worst is that the spider-webbed corners were only inches from the top bunk. How would anyone sleep in such conditions. The room was stuffy and smelled like old clothes being kept too long in the attic. I demanded they either clean the room once more or change the room immediately. Since we were there for a function, the other rooms were fully booked for that same function. So they cleaned the room instead.
The rest of my stay was as average as it gets.
The CEO of our school wanted eggs for breakfast one morning and they couldn't provide ala carte boiled eggs! So, she asked if she could take the boiled eggs from the buffet. They nodded. When the bill came, she was charged for one person's access to the entire buffet. They didn't have consideration for her concerns on food constraints as she only takes halal food.
This seems to be an old hotel. If it weren't for the event being held there, I doubt anyone would make this hotel their first choice.

This is a budget hotel and is not for business purpose for several reasons.

1. The room rate only covers the room and everything else will be charged, including wifi, breakfast, fitness room, etc. So, adding all these to the room charge when you consider the price.

2. The hotel sits in the olympic park, which means nice view and poor living facility. The hotel has one or two restaurant and one tiny shop. The coffee shop opens till 10PM. The shop only opens from 10AM to 8PM and I cannot find any vending machine in the hotel. When you finish a late meeting in the evening, there is nothing to eat in the hotel. You have to walk 10 to 15 minutes to find food.

3. The wifi is poor. I even have difficulty to set up a teleconference during the day in the room.

4. Although I ask for non-smoking room, the room smells poor.

5. I think the hotel better suits for family or visitors in a budget. The room has a large and empty refrigerator. I think the hotel encourages one to bring their own food.
