My fiancé and I had purchased one room on the “Guest Room” floor. We had management change our room within minutes of walking into it. Some type of oil (you can only guess what kind it was) — was slathered on the light switches next to the bed, and teeny tiny droplets which resembled odd blood splatter stained the white sheets. Also, there seemed to be leftover coffee stains all over the floor! Not to mention, harsh shampoos and soaps. Bring your own (if you’re brave enough to stay), especially if you have dyed hair like mine. Your hair will fall out! Ended up getting another room on the “Executive” floor with a nice view. Would be flying out of ICN Airport a few days later. Three weeks later after arriving home in the states, I noticed I was being eaten ALIVE at night. Was the only hotel we stayed at where we brought our luggage in during our entire trip in Seoul. Do not stay here unless you like old hair on the shower, moldy and slimy and sticky shower curtains (that I can bet my entire travel expenditure haven’t been bleached or wiped down ONCE), dirty floors — and that bloody stuff? Turns out it’s excretion from BED BUGS! And it’s on MY bed now, too!!

Driving in valet is absolutely the way to ruin your day. Bathroom was broken and with the service trust me you could get so much more for your hard earned money elsewhere anywhere in seoul. I travel alot trust me.

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
I found a good deal and so stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. To be frank, I was quite worried about my stay after reading so many negative feedback about the hotel. I found this hotel is good for 1. Super spacious room and bathroom. I don't think you can find a similar sized room at a same price in Gangnam. 2. There are gym (free) and sauna facilities (paying) available. 3. Very close to the metro station and the airport bus station 4. Local restaurants and cafeteria are around the hotel 5. Good value for money if you can book this hotel at a low rate 6. The room is clean What improvement this hotel needs: 1. The service of front desk. After reading the feedback here, obviously you won't expect too much from them and they won't be too helpful. 2. No one replies my email about confirmation of my booking 3. Fix the broken devices (e.g. In my room, the phone (and so the morning call service) is not working. Luckily I also use the phone alarm function. One of the electrical sockets is also not function. It appears that the air-conditioning cannot be turned off despite numerous trials. Overall although this hotel is not quite Ramada standard, I will still stay at this hotel if I am in Gangnam again. We just have to pray that the front office won't give you the poor rooms other reviewers experienced.

The location of the hotel is nice. However the entire property is very dated. The rooms have not been renovated in many years and the hotel shows its age. The TV never worked. The internet was flaky. And the reception staff was hopeless and had no clue to anything. And it was not a language issue. They were just unhelpful and more interested in chatting with each other or playing on their phone. Would not stay there again.

Stopped over for two nights for a quick visit of Seoul so made a last minute reservation at Ramada. It’s close to Coex and a subway station is half block away. I was on the eighth floor with my teen daughters and my friends were in executive twin on the twelfth floor. Check in was easy but nothing was mentioned: ie restaurant on site, sauna, parking, pool, check out policy, etc. All the beds had no padding so we all felt like sleeping on a metal grill. Shower head in our room didn’t adjust so we had to be right against the shower bar to receive water. As mentioned above it was just a quick stop over so really didn’t explore any of the facilities but I will definitely stick with Marriott line and get what I pay for. I will not be returning here!
