We travel to korea twice or thrice a year and Nine Tree Myeongdong is our go-to hotel. We changed hotel last autumn.. but for winter, we decided to go back. And we made the right decision.
I was about to cancel and glad we didn’t. I emailed them my worry of the virus and they assured me that rooms are sanitized everyday. From email to reception, they are extremely helpful. My preferences in room was given and im so grateful. I always asked for disinfectant spray and they let me borrow. They also helped with our food delivery.
In addition, the location is just on point. Near subway, meet up point for tours, airport limo bus, restaurants and of course, shopping!
Room is clean and staff is great. It’s home away from home :)

This is exactly what I look for in a hotel when I travel (30 countries so far): value (price was excellent for the room and amenities), location (central to everything north of the river + only 2 buildings away from a metro station), cleanliness (the housekeeping staff left it spotless each day), and the kindest staff of any hotel I've every stayed in. We had an emergency situation and the staff went out of their way to find rooms for the extra time we were required to stay. They were professional, courteous, and always offered us ways to make our trip better. I had read some reviews complaining about the size of the rooms, but honestly, I only use my hotel room as a place to sleep and not a place to spend my days. The rooms were all we needed for 2 people. Everything in the rooms worked well and we were given new personal items each day. The staff warned us of some nearby construction that might cause noise, but we never heard a sound. The only suggestion I have is to add more washers/dryers since there was only one of each for the entire hotel and were often being used. I plan to return to Seoul and this will definitely be the hotel where I'll stay.

The hotel location is great right next to the airport bus stop, also the metro stop and of course myeongdong area is just great. The hotel was very clean and safe (coming from a solo female traveler) with extremely helpful and accommodating staff. The only downside was the breakfast, not much of a variety there. But again myeongdong is full of restaurants or food stalls.

The housekeeping didn't changes my bedsheet when I put the card on, it was wet on the bedsheet until I told frontdesk.
We reserve five days but only give us 3 days bottles of water. But the hotel location is good and convenient, 11 floor has a lounge for drink coffee, every floor have hot and cold water machine.

Hotel was in a good location but besides that it was just average. The room was incredibly small and we’ve stayed in some small rooms before. But there was no place to but anything. No closet or place to put a suitcase so you were constant tripping over things. We had very small bags but they wouldn’t even fit under the bed to get them out of the way. Check in was easy but felt a little uneasy as all she did was go through a list of things not to do as otherwise they would charge you. We didn’t use the robes in the room or the water that I think was free because we were sure if we would be charged. All in all the location is great and clean room but might stay somewhere else next time.

The shower water pressure are very low. It's not easy to control the hot and cold water mixer together. It's let me really uncomfortable shower. I'm not think it could happened in your hotel. Really frustrated.

The WiFi is not stable, need to use my own data, inconvenient. Found some rubbish under the bed. The flushing system inside the toilet is not stable also. Sometimes can flush & sometimes cannot. Even though I report this case to the lobby staff, after someone fixed, still same.

Nine Tree was very near to everything in Myeongdong, such as restaurants, shopping, the metro. Also very near the airport limo

The only downside was the breakfast, not much of a variety and doesn't worth the price. Their spaghetti and Fried Rice are always running out, as early as 7:30am. And i am always on plain bread and salad for daily meal.
Breakfast start at 7am, and we tried to arrive at 7:30am but noodles are already out of stock & doesn't get replenished. Even after we finish our breakfast.
Coin Laundry and Dryer Machines are great idea, if only hotel could get additional machines. Long Q for usage during my stay.
Location wise is great near Subway Exit.

L11 Lounge - Provide FOC Coffee and Microwave Machine which is great for guests who brought own food from neighbour hood that need heating

The location of this hotel is perfect if you're staying in Myeongdong, as it is very close to the subway station, and just one block away from the start of the Myeongdong shopping street where are the KBeauty stores and street food vendors are. The bigger malls are all only 600-800 meters away. There are lots, and I mean lots, of food options around the hotel. If you're looking for a quick coffee fix, there's a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf right across the hotel. If you're looking to shop for goodies to take home, Korea Mart is also just across the street.
The room is clean and decorated in a minimalist style. Bathroom, like a lot of Korean/Japanese hotels, is excellent.
If I had one quibble, I wish they offered breakfast, but I was told they discontinued it because of the pandemic.

If I am remembering correctly it is the Blue Line #4 Subway exit Myeongdong . The hotel is just a half block walk from it.
