If you want a clean, safe, budget option, this is it. We were a bit worried when we first arrived as it's in an alley. But the moment we stepped inside we were comforted. It's close to Itaewon, but not in it - it's about a 10 min walk. The people working there were great. They all spoke English and...

I stayed in a single room which was a decent size. The room has a single bed which is rock solid!! The room and bath room were clean. They provided towels that were dirty and looked unwashed. There is a TV with cable TV and good wifi. Hostel staff were friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend the Sun City Hostel in Seoul. It is located very close to both Samgakji and Yongsan subway stations. Perfect location if you will be taking the KTX train. The building itself is difficult to find as the sign is pretty small, but the English directions on the website are very good and I found the place easily....

I made a mistake with the hostel booking and accidentally booked only one night instead of two. So when I showed up I actually hadn't booked for that night, but the night after. The hostel owner was really nice about it and said I could stay in a room where the reservation had been cancelled. It was a double room...

This hostel location is very good, near subway 2 lines(line 4 and 6) that mean you can go to many places around Seoul and also near one of popular spot, The war memorial of Korea, on foot around 15-20 mins. I booked the room with continental breakfasts but hostel's staff didn't mention it when I checked in so do not...

a little hard to find at first (so make sure to print a map beforehand) but overall okay. The rooms are extremely small and you will have to carry luggage up the stairs. Friendly enough owner but he does the washing throughout the night which could clearly be heard from the room I was staying in....not great if you`re a...

We booked this awful hostel for two nights and it was a mistake. When we arrived the owner met us and gave us the most terrible room I've ever seen. On the first floor, no window, extremely tiny, no space for one person. We asked for child extra bed (and paid for it) and we got a thick blanket on...

It's a little tricky to get to so print out directions beforehand. You can also call the hostel. We got lost looking for it and the manager came outside to meet us when we told him where we were. It's a very basic room, but that's all we needed as we only slept in the room and didn't spend time...

I stayed here four nights in April 2013. Easy to get to by bus, but maybe a bit difficult to find if you haven't looked properly into where it is. I knew because I had checked out its location on Google Maps beforehand. Friendly staff and nice room, but of course you have to understand that you get what you...

Stayed for 10 nights. Very good service and the manager is very friendly and helpful always offering his help to us as this was the first time we went to South Korea and it's winter. The rooms are small but this was not the issue since we are always outside and we just need a place to sleep. The location...
