Lotte is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Seoul — near to restaurants, shopping options (it’s even beside a mall/department store) and touristic sites. The executive floor has its own reception and eating areas, but there are also several other eating and bar options in the hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the service is top notch. Highly recommended.

This review is for ‘La Cime’ lounge of the Lotte Hotel Seoul, Seoul. My husband and I stayed at the Lotte Seoul from March 1, 2024 through March 7, 2024. Our premium room in the executive tower offered access to the ‘La Cime’ lounge on the 34th floor. The lounge is elegant and refined, as is the food and beverage offerings during breakfast, tea, and cocktail hours. One of the best, if not the best, among Asian Hotels. The captain/hostess Sarah and her team were attentive and gracious, adding much warmth and charm. I am grateful to each member for their patience and kindness in taking time to teach me some verbal Korean. They brought fun and joy! Thank you Sarah, Sofia, Amber, April and Monica for making each visit to ‘La Cime’ a memorable experience. We look forward to returning soon to the excellent and impeccable Lotte Hotel Seoul.

The Lotte Hotel is centrally located to both shopping and the Metro. The hotel decor is a bit dated, that’s to say opulent, but does not look warn or tired. The rooms are a good size, though a would not call them large and it has one of the best breakfast buffets in Asia. Overall, there is not a bad thing to say about this property as the service and location are top notch. It’s a traditional hotel that won’t wow you with its minimalist decor, but it is a great place to lay your head for a few nights in the wonderful city of Seoul.

This hotel gets Five Stars in every category. Service was outstanding. You’d pay much more in the USA for this level of service. Room service food was excellent and reasonably priced. The location is great as well. I highly recommend staying at this location.

I stayed here for business trip multiple times. Service was very good, very nice check in area for Executive Tower on the 15th floor. The room temperature was just right, the bed was soft and comfortable. It is linked by an escalator to Lotte department store which has everything you need, including other restaurants and food court, so convenient that we do not to venture outside unnecessarily in cold winter. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel has a great view and there is a lounge/cafe on the first floor with a very nice waterfall.

Definitely 5 star hotel experience in both the room and grand main hotel lobby. (+) Very spacious and luxurious room (king sized bed). (+) Wife liked the makeup table with large mirror. (+) Bathroom has bath and separate shower area. (+) Lobby staff were proactive and helpful, especially to book taxis (+) Lotte department store is in the next building and accessible through hotel basement. (+) Proximity to Myeongdong area also meant we were able to get Korean streetside stall food in the evenings. (+) Hotel systems are good - when we mentioned we checked in two days ago, the reception staff was able to pull-up our info without needing us to give all our passports again to check-in (which would have been a hassle with some passports in locked suitcases as we just returned from a 2 day trip to the ski resort) - They were able to also retrieve our stored luggage and deliver to our rooms without us digging out the luggage tag from our suitcase Just a few minuses which weren’t a big deal but still worth mentioning (-) Toilet has no lock (-) Didn’t like that toothpaste and toothbrush have to be separately paid for, as a minibar item. I tend to bring my own toothbrush when I travel, so wouldn’t use the hotel’s toothbrush anyway. but my son did not bring his toothbrush and we did not realise toothbrushes were in the minibar (-) There are no sofas nor chairs whatsoever in the main lobby (except two chairs in front of concierge desk) which was uncomfortable when we were waiting for our taxi. The Lotte hotel at Lotte World have sofas in the lobby so it seemed peculiar to this hotel. (-) Room is slightly dim (despite there being several lamps) as there is no central ceiling light. (my wife thinks its ok)

Stayed for 2 nights in the Superior room and 3 nights in the Deluxe room. For a USD40 difference per night between the Superior and Deluxe rooms, it is worthwhile paying the difference. The Superior room is quite bad, small and dinghy, not 5-star standard at all, and I would not stay here again (nor recommend anyone do so). The Deluxe room is more fitting for a 5-star hotel, reasonably acceptable and comfortable. The morning buffet is superb. It’s been a while since I’ve stayed in a hotel with a buffet breakfast of such quality and spread. I just wished a 5-star hotel wouldn’t nickel and dime their guests by making us pay for basic toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. It’s not a nominal charge by the way, and I went to a convenience store to buy them instead. It is done in the name of “saving the environment” but who are we kidding…. It’s a small thing but small things matter when a hotel wants to be called a 5-star hotel.

Booked the junior suite and another premiere room with my friends. The level of English spoken by staffs throughout the property was less than basic. Housekeeping staffs can barely understand the need for towels. The hotel does not provide toothbrush and toothpaste, please bring your own. Water was also very provided on a very tight control basis. Location was perfect for shopping at myeong dong and the connecting train station was great. I wouldn't come back again and will definitely try more international hotel brands. The gym was amazing btw!

Loved this hotel . Stayed here for 3 nights. Liked the way the porter or bell staff willing to assist with bringing luggage into your room. Lobby evokes luxury and spaciousness with minimalist Christmas decors. Hotel located near Myeongdong street food and services. It is connected to the plush Lotte department store. Room was not huge but very functional . amenities worth. Loved the location of charging ports. Functionality of the bedroom little compromised but this is what you get . Beds are comfortable. Bathroom has bathtub .and toilet had automated bidet. Tv was smart variety and AC coolness noticeable.Wi-Fi was spotty and I have no ideas why it was that. Breakfast buffet at La Seine was one to look forward to during the stay in the hotel.lots of choices. Staff are very polite and attentive. After breakfast can check their museum and store o
