My wife and I live in Korea and wanted to stay somewhere in Seoul for a 1-night staycation of sorts. I had a Free Night Certificate from one of my USA credit cards, and booked a regular room. I'm a Bonvoy Gold member and I recalled seeing somebody else with Gold status post that they got a suite upgrade recently. I wasn't sure whether I could get the same upgrade on a free night, and so I asked during check-in. Sure enough, I got a free upgrade to Junior Suite King bed, room #1620 I think it was. The room had a great view of the city and the N Tower in the background. Very spacious, earth tone, new everything. Bed was very comfortable. The room I booked would have been 220k KRW (before taxes), and our Junior Suite King went for 513k KRW (including taxes). To get that kind of room completely for free with only Gold status was really amazing. (Neither breakfast nor lounge were included with my free night booking, but that was basically expected. There is a 7-11 convenience store just 50 meters away, and that's where we picked up some of our breakfast foods.) (Probably the only small worry was the underground parking situation. We were very lucky and managed to get the last parking spot on the lowest level!) The service was very good. Front-desk check-in staff was great. Check-out was fast too. I know that it's currently the coronavirus situation right now, but my wife and I were very satisfied with the service at this hotel and we would be happy to come back and pay for the night the next time we have a staycation in Gangnam.

This hotel is located right in the middle of Gangnam-gu and is ideal for business travellers. The hotel is bright and airy and the suite I had was spacious and very well appointed. Staff were hyper friendly and happy to tend to my every request. Keep up the good work team. Another winner by the Marriott team!

This could be one of the best hotels i've stayed. The hotel is huge, extremely clean and very luxurious. The room was amazing, with a big and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was split in two, with the toilet separated. There were two options for taking a shower (!) which i loved. The toilet was this high-tech toilet with seat warmer, bidet, etc. The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. The cafe at the bottom though was extremely expensive with something like 14 euro for a cappuccino ! The breakfast was the biggest i've seen with hundreds of options. There was a very big and long room filled with a huge variety of dishes and even ice cream. The gym was quite decent and had a lot of machines for weight lifting and treadmills. The only bad thing was that the temperature at the gym was very high, which made you uncomfortable to exercise. Overall an amazing experience - i hope i'll be able to go back.

I stayed 3 days during Sat - Mon. In Saturday, there were too many guests and I should gave up using Lounge Happy Hour. But in Sunday, I could really enjoy the quality and service of club lounge and I can say it was excellent both for quality of foods and service if staffs. If you are to use club lounge and if it is not on busy Saturday, I would highly recommend this hotel. The service at this hotel is high notch!

This hotel located in central, near with all shop & restaurant. Services from hotel staffs also good. But hotel should add improve in security part. We have "unsecure" experience on New Year Eve,when on going back to room, a local teenager follow us.First,we though he stay in same floor with us,but then I suspicious, because he walk very close near me.I walk behind my family. Then I call my family go back to lobby+give signal to them, and I give way to this man to walk in front of us. He confuse then go to emergency door,I still keep watching him. This man back again to floor (he able open emergency door from outside) and he surprise I still there watching him. When I want call security by phone, this man run to the lift and going down
