Perfect staycation. the room is well-appointed and clean and the facilities are very well maintained. Everyone, who are working in this hotel, is very friendly and nice. I stayed in May, the weather was a bit chilli to spend time in the swimming pool area, but they have the 'heat-up' sunbeds which I liked during my stay. as I booked an executive room i could enjoy their executive lounge both afternoon tea and happy hour. Due to COVID, i was able to have breakfast at Parkview and i really enjoyed! I will definitely visit here again. If you want to have a staycation at Shilla, i recommend you to book an executive room with Swimming pool access.
The Shilla located at a top of a hill so it is not as convenient on foot as most but this is a great business hotel. Plenty of taxis readily available. One of my favourite luxury hotels in Seoul. The service is attentive and the facilities are classical-modern-Korean decor and very well kept. The rooms are equipped with most power options to work in the room seamlessly. Dining options are good but not cheap. The Club floors are better than most with plenty of benefits. I was able to rent a battery charger and local mobile phone for a small daily charge. The gym is spacious and clean.
Me and my friend stayed there for 2 nights. Beds are comfortable. Staffs are always helpful. Customer Service is excellent and nice welcoming. Rooms are clean and filled up Luxury Amenities. We will definitely visit again to The Shilla.
Our first visit to south korea. It wont be our last. Arrived at hotel 7:30am but check in not till 3:00pm. Reception said they would try and get us a room at midday. We were just about to sit down in a lounge when we were told they had us a room, fantastic as we were very tired. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff here, customer service at its very very best. Just ask and they will sort it. A very clean and beautiful hotel. The housemaid who looked after our room went above and beyond in our eyes. Respect. Would we stay here again, without any hesitation. Keep up the good work guys, we loved our stay.
Guests staying at the hotel and using the executive lounge will have to wait for a long time to get a seat.I was trying to meet a guest in the lounge, but I had to wait two hours in my room with him. and the breakfast buffet will have to wait in line as well.I regret that I had to pay a lot and stay at this hotel
