The first staff that we encountered on checking in was a bit unprofessional and not helpful compared to the other guy when we were checking out. Towels were not enough for two even though we have 2 beds that can fit five people. The hotel was at the back of the main street where a lot of bars and restaurants...

I stayed in this hotel for 8 days. Location is the biggest plus for staying in this hotel with the Yeoksam subway line Exit 3 just 30 meters away and Limousine bus stop just 50 meeters away close to Exit 4 of subway line. The main drawback of the hotel is rooms are spacious but no enough cupborads to store...

Good value for price. Looking a little worn, but clean room, convenient to amenities. Room was warm with little ability to control the temperature. Opening the window resulted in a noisy sleep with partygoers leaving the restaurants at 2-3am. Otherwise, great location.

This hotel is convenient to the subway line, so access to Seoul is very easy. The hotel itself is clean, although a little worn. The room was larger than expected, and the bathtub was large enough for two people. Plenty of restaurants are located nearby, although English is not spoken at some of the ones that were visited. Given the...

Outdated furnishing but with a free wi-fi,a pc and 42 inches flat screen and excellent location and affordable price, I have no complains. Subway is just 50m away from the hotel and limousine to the airport is juat across the road. This make it easier for me a family with young children transporting to and from the airport.some of the...

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighborhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
