Lovely hotel. Rooms very spacious. Bathroom huge with two showers, Jacuzzi bath and all toiletries supplied. Beds a bit hard though. Room not cleaned one day but towels supplied when I visited reception. Breakfast basic but cereal, toast, boiled eggs, fruit and coffee supplied. Computer and huge tv in room but no channels in English.

Near to Yeoksam station and can walk to Gangnam station where it's most vibrant at night. There are many restaurants and eatery surrounding here. Fast check in and out. The jacuzzi in the room suit us fine after a tiring day.

The pictures of the pool on the booking sites are nothing like reality - in fact it's no bigger than a kids' pool, concrete, mildew and a rather disturbing shade of green, in a weird underground bunker with a suspended inflatable killer whale and a kitchen in it! Rest of hotel was ok though, if you don't mind lino floors.

Nox Hotel is a small-ish hotel that has an excellent location (a couple of minutes walk to Yeoksam station, and a ten minute walk to Gangnam station). My mum and I stayed at Nox for five nights, and found all staff to be very helpful and friendly - we arrived early in the morning and the hotel readily accomodated an... More

Close to Gangnam - the Nox Hotel is in a vibrant area just off Yeoksam station in central Seoul. Ideally located for taxis, subway, bars, restaurants and within walking distance to Gangnam. Rooms are spacious - especially the bathrooms with the Jacuzzi style bath tubs - and the wifi is good. The Nox also provides a free laundry service for... More

The Hotel is near the Yeoksam Metro stop. Its accessible to all public transport. Staff were nice and very helpful, clean large rooms. The area is quiet but there are small hotels nearby that seems to be those "short-time" hotels. There is a very yummy korean BBQ resto 100m from the hotel, its non touristy mostly locals. Not expensive. Over-all... More

The hotel is located near the Yeoksam station in the neighbourhood of Gangnam. As others have commented it is a bit complicated to find, as it is not on one of the main streets. Once there, the first impression is not so good, as the only thing found when opening the door is a small hallway to a lift. Taking... More

American couple - stayed for 4 nights I was EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience here. Highly recommend this as a low cost, high class substitute vs. larger chain hotels in the area. Details: Arrived at 9a after a red-eye flight, and they gave us a room immediately rather than normal 2p check-in time. No added charge. Room is very clean... More

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighborhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
