I have been to Seoul 3 times for the past few years and only stayed at Classic 500. Though a little pricey, the room is absolutely worth it. We always get the suite for 3 ( we have 2 adults and 3 kids) and it is like a home away from home for us. Basically, once you enter, there is a huge hallway for you to place all your jackets. Then it leads to a huge living room plus a working table. There is a small kitchen complete with induction stove and pots/cutlery to cook breakfast and a very handy microwave oven. ( And a fridge as well) You would also find a washing machine and dryer. A must have for long trips away from home. The bedroom has tons of cupboards and two double beds joined together. There is even a vanity counter for makeup. Bathroom is well equipped with standing rain shower and Japanese style bidet. There is no bathtub (it being built as a high class residence for the elderly - the other side of the Residence) Our family loves the location as it is just next to a Lotte Mart and shopping complex called Starcity with cinemas, shops , restaurants, e-mart(try to go there to get all the Korean foodstuff etc). The insta worthy Common Ground is just a mere 10 min walk away. Plus all around the residence are small restaurants (from traditional ones to fusion), shops and coffeehouses. And the subway is just 5 - 10 min walk from the residences, else take a cab cos it takes like 15 min to Jamsil or 20 min to Myeongdong. Cabs are not too expensive when you have 5 or 4 in a group. The doorman/concierge are always so polite and helpful. Always willing to go the extra mile. And they speak wonderful English too! We are looking forward to going back Classic 500! …
My family, 2 adults and 3 kids, stayed in a 3 adults suite for 3 nights. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The room could accommodate 2 extra kids, but there were only two double beds provided. My kids had to sleep on the sofa in the sitting room which was not comfortable at all.
I stayed at the hotel with my family, large room there's kitchen, washing machine, living room and bedroom Its near train only 5 mints walk and there's very delicious bakery opens 7am across the street defintely will visit the hotel again
Nice modern hotel, with a good size clean room, the master bed was huge and comfortable, the second double a good size. Lots of local coffee houses. You might wish to use the pool, but it was about £20 per person, per day, which is crazy. The hotel is around 45mins away from most of the top ten attractions listed in Seoul guide books, Taxi's are reasonable, so not too much of a hassle... Closer to the Olympic park (Still a taxi ride) if that's where you are headed...
About 20 mins from M.Dong. Overall , a pleasant stay. Room is very good size and has countless number of wardrobe and cabinets ! Needed really use hotel services that much . Stephen at the concierge desk was helpful
The location is great, there’s everything you need is so close to hotel. Apartment size is very generous and clean. I stayed here 9days but it feels like I haven’t had any shower. The water pressure is so weak, it’s a big task to wash your hair. Nothing beats good hot shower at the end of day after long tiring and walking through cold winds right? There’s public bath place at the basements but they don’t offer discounts to hotel guests. It is quite expensive if you want to use it everyday. I’m checking in for another 2nights tomorrow(transiting in Seoul from Europe to Sydney) and I’m already stress about it😤😥
Overall service was good and comfortable. Some of the furnitures were torn and might need repair. Wa being assigned a room on 9th floor, view was still great but of course the higher the better to avoid possible noise.
Big rooms with decent price. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy, maybe the furniture needs a little updating but overall it's well maintained. Staff is very polite, spoke English well and was very helpful when I left something in the taxi and had to call them to come back to the hotel Location is close to subway. It's a university area so lots of restaurants and little shops. No complains!
Super convenient location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Speedy responds to our requests. Room was huge and clean. Nice buffet breakfast. High quality toiletories. Room of improvements: windows were opened by housekeeping but we were not aware, so the room was pretty freezing at mid-night. Room temperature could not be set higher than 24 degrees. New towels and toiletories were only provided only upon request, not daily.
Great location right next to Konkuk university station, around the corner from a wonderful street food area, plus plenty of shopping malls if that's your thing (with food courts). One of the largest apartments I've ever stayed in, in Asia for a reasonable price. Helpful and friendly front desk staff, would definitely stay here again. In-house restaurants are a bit exxy but plenty of variety within 5 minutes' walk.
