This was our first hotel stay in our trip in Seoul, and it was definitely our best stay of the trip. We got off the metro station and after wandering around for a minute, walked through a lovely park with preserved traditional Korean houses. The location of this hotel is really great - there's a ton to do nearby and it's relatively easy access for both taxis and the metro. The staff is what makes the hotel. My wife and I were charmed by the pleasant greeting we got each time we saw someone and the breakfasts were excellent. The room we got was cozy, but with a great view. The room also had amenities like a shoehorn that more expensive museums didn't have.

I stayed for 7 nights in Dec 18 to Jan 19, it was a nice stay, extremely helpful staffs , i mean like everyone from night shift to the day shift, always a smile and speak good English. When i 1st arrive, the front desk greet me with my name to my surprise. I quite enjoy sitting at lobby after breakfast, very comfortable. Let me go slightly more , Location - you need to hike up a hill at Namsangol, with luggage you must be fit physically. It is near to Chungmuro Exit 3 aboout 5 mins walk down the hill, but going from Chungmuro to Hotel will take you around 12 mins or more. make sure you get everything at convenient store before you go back to hotel. Room - i booked superior room, it is decent size. but is slightly noisy , buzzing noise from the ventilation intermittently . Get ear plug and i have good night sleep. Breakfast - they serve some main korean dish and supplement by mini buffet of bread, orange juice, coffee, milk. The staff refill buffet item non stop. Good point. Recommendation: Yes if you are young and fit person. If you are travelling with small kid and elder person highly not recommended. It take effort to climb up the hill to reach hotel. There are no taxi in hotel vicinity, is quite remote location to reach by car. Going back to hotel by Taxi from Myeondong is ~KRM5000 ,but not many taxi willing to go, need to ask around.

The hotel is clean and cosy. Beds extremely comfortable. Rooms have all the amenities you need. The most stunning plus is the location, close to a lovely small park and a little mountain bordering the town. Yet very close to down town! Breakfast is simply delicious. Finally not a waste food experience but a a la carte formula with a vegetarian option of tasty South Korean food. Staff attentive and kind. A special thanks to all of them and the manager who helped us to rescue 5 lovely kittens stranded under the rain!

It's my first time in Seoul, I was worried about the big city, different culture and our safety. I was so glad to find this hotel, which was located in a perfect location: on top of a hill overlook Namsangol Hanok Village, a few minutes walk from the subway station (exit 4 of Chungmuro station) and very secured. The walk through the Village from the subway station was pleasant, it put me in a serene mood after fun days of exploring. Even though the room is a little small, the view and the staff are more than making up for it. I booked a room with a balcony which allowed me to see the park with the city and mountains in the background. It was a surprise treat! The staff was very attentive and helpful. I had some personal requests which they went above and beyond my expectation to fulfill them. I am very grateful! We stayed the entire week at this hotel and definitely would stay here again if we visit Seoul.

This place had a little small room but it was very clean and nice. There was a TV with some English channel and Korean Channel. In the morning, the staffs were wearing HanBok (Korean traditional clothes) and the breakfast was good. If you are going to this hotel. I suggest the end of April. There is a huge park right in front of the hotel. If you go to the end of the park, there will be a subway station The best way to use transportation in this area is through ChungMuRo Station which is the subway station I mentioned above. There are convincence stores and restaurants. You have to walk around 5 minutes. Lastly, many famous places are 3-5 stations away from this place
