Our room was the Signiel Premier, upgraded with a river view and premium bathroom. The price was not cheap, but I think it was worth it. My wife shipped a box of seaweed to the hotel that went missing for several days. Brad Hwang and his staff did not stop looking for it. Finally, they were able to locate it just before we leave for the USA. We were able to finish our vacation with a high note. We recommend this hotel to other travelers, get an upgraded room! We will definitely visit again. See you next time!

Simply the best hotel stay ever! 5 stars isn’t doing the Signiel hotel justice as we were amazed and everything exceeded our expectations. The Lotte World Tower is very beautiful and unique, but the hotel in itself is just the best of the best. From the hospitality of the staff always there to help even though they remain discreet, the room with amazing views of Seoul and luxurious furnitures. The breakfast is just the best and I would advise anyone to actually try it, from the freshly made Chantilly to the caramel cream and we really liked the correct portions so it was possible to taste everything. The gym and spa are also an experience in themselves that need to be seen. We really want to warmly thank the staff. We liked it so much that we extended our trip to have one more night at the Signiel.

The Han-river view from this hotel is the unique experience, cannot be gotten from any other. And its faccilities, room condition and F&B are all great. It isn't hard to say that it is the best in ROK.

It started poorly from the beginning. I booked a Deluxe Suite and saw in the pictures on the website that some of the rooms have two double beds instead of one large bed, so I emailed to request that it be a single king bed. They replied that they can give me a queen so I said if you don't have a room with a king bed, just tell me now and I'll go somewhere else since there are plenty of great hotels in Seoul. They said of course, like they were doing me some huge favor to give me a king bed in a room labelled 'Deluxe Suite'. I later would come to pay for it, as they gave me a room on the lowest floor, with the worst view with a walled out bathtub in the shower in one of the most awkward architectural designs I've ever seen, and to top it all off, the room REEKS of cigarette smoke. Bed was super cheap: this is not Aman Tokyo, or even Park Hyatt, think more like Motel 6. When I asked if I could eat dinner at the signiel club, they said they changed the policy in May and to try to make a reservation on my own at one of the other restaurants. Gee thanks. So I settled for room service, I ordered off the korean menu and it was some of the worst kalbi I've ever had. I would highly recommend you DO NOT STAY HERE and come for lunch or something to enjoy the view, but DO NOT STAY at the hotel. They don't understand service, they seem to be unfriendly to foreigners, their english is bad, and the rooms are cheap, especially the bed and bad water pressure, and slow internet.

SIGNIEL CLUB 107F (Sushi Bar) – Dining in the Sky 시그니엘 클럽 107F (스시바) – 하늘속에서의 다이닝 Meal budget per person (without drinks) Category 3 (over 120000 KRW, 100 USD) It is a member’s restaurant with Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The Japanese one has one counter which can afford 9 guests (2 team max.) It has the most wonderful view in Seoul because it is located on 107th floor. There is one elevator from ground floor directly to 107F, so it does not take long to go up the restaurant. (The elevator used to be faster, but it is now slowed down to 90 seconds because some guests felt dizzy.) The ingredients are very fresh and delectable. The Dining in the Sky with the top notch service by the staffs is a special experience.

We have stayed all over the world and this is truly one of the best hotels in the world, especially the level of service. The door is opened for you as you pull up and you are whisked by an express elevator to the 79th floor lobby. There, we were greeted and seated while the team checked on our room. We arrived well before check-in time, but they found us an upgraded room and then even gave us keys for our parents' room (who were arriving later) and were told that their room would be ready by 2pm (which it was). They got us on the same floor (93rd) and upgrade them as well. The rooms and views are beautiful - well appointed and thoughtful layouts. We soon received welcome team as well. During our stay, we used the lounge numerous times (complementary coffee, drinks, and snacks during the day - champagne and snacks in the late afternoon). They also had a conference room that we used for a number of video meetings. We had breakfast together each day in the restaurant on the 81st floor. The buffet was terrific and the service exemplary - anything we thought of was suddenly there. We used the fitness center a number of times and it was well equipped, clean, and the staff were ready to assist in any way. We also had high tea on our final day, which was a very pleasant experience. However, beyond all of this, it was the team that took it one level higher. In particular, Jonathan Lee was incredible. I had a 3 AM video call one day with the US and he made sure that I could use the conference room, even though it didn't open until 7. When I came down to the lobby, without saying a word, the staff knew who I was and what I needed and made sure that everything was set up in the room. Jonathan helped us multiple times during our stay, making all of our family welcome. This is why we will definitely be returning and have already booked two more stays there.

A lovely hotel that’s next to the beach and access to many places of interest as well as eateries. Not a place to shop but certainly one to relax with your loved ones. Great food, nice windy weather in summer and great Korean hospitality. My wife and loved the signiel tea and hotel body wash and shampoo, and I made contact with the hotel staff through their livechat. Ms Joanne Kim was very attentive and helpful and she not only offered advice as to where to buy the signiel tea (you can get this from the Pastry Salon on L3), she made special arrangements to have additional signiel teabags, shampoo and body wash sent to our room the next day. When we checked out, Ms Joanne Kim again provided us with more body wash and shampoo for my wife. A pleasant surprise! Our heartfelt thanks to Ms Joanne Kim who went the extra mile for her/Signiel customers. Ms Joanne Kim made a big positive difference to our Busan holiday! We also wish to express our sincere thanks to Ms Julie Kim (who shared plenty of good advice upon our check-in) and Ms Celine Maeng (who was very patient and helpful to us when we checked out). We certainly look forward to our next visit to Busan and stay in Signiel when direct flights become available from SG to Busan. Thank you Signiel! Thank you Busan!

This is by far the best hotel in Seoul. From the second you arrive until you checkout they will make you feel special. The front desk are very friendly they explain everything and try to give you everything you want. They also have A handwritten thank message just for you. The location is so convenient. The restaurants are amazing. The view from the room is breathtaking.

Signiel Seoul is located in the city center, easy to get around basically anywhere. Easily recommended for staycation for families as Lotte World is just right next to it. Once you step into the hotel, luxurious is the word that comes up to mind. Magnificent modern marbled interior with metallic accents everywhere, The setting might appear cold to some people but not to worry, the professional staffs are there to give you a heart warming welcome. Excellent service by the staffs. Hotel room is squeaky clean, more of the marbled interior, if you are a person who loves taking photos for social media, you are in for a treat for some bragging rights. The hotel provided a welcome tea which was inviting and the hotel toiletries that they offer was by the brand Diptyque. The amount of detail so far was really impressive. The view from the room was spectacular. you could see mountains from a far, buildings below you, nightlights from the bustling city life. Feeling is kind of like you are looking outside of a plane upon arrival into the country. Very peaceful and serene. Overall, very impressed by the hotel, had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed my stay here. Thanks to all the staffs that made it happen too.

My wife and I stayed here on staycation in December 2020. Although we were in the middle of the pandemic, I was able to get a room ("Grand Deluxe Double Room") from Cheaptickets (with their standard 16% discount code + 3% off via Rakuten), for USD $253 all-in (breakfast not included). That kind of price is impossible to find, now, half a year later! Check-in was a zoo. A lot of people waiting, and not really enough seating in the lobby, unless you want to sit 3 strangers to a couch, shoulder-to-shoulder. Looking out the windows, the city view is good, in the lobby, but we were waiting for about 15 minutes to get checked in. The staff seem to be competent and cheerful, all things considered. The bedroom is designed with a very simple, pretty, 'innocent' look; the bed itself is very comfortable but nothing remarkable. The bedroom size itself was just OK for two people, I recall. Honestly, there is nothing about the bedroom contents itself that is so interesting. But let's face it: The bedroom view is why many people book this hotel. And it's true, you are almost 100 stories above ground level. Yet the view during the day can suffer from air pollution if you pick the smoggier days (i.e. April/May). For that reason, we enjoyed more the expansive view of city lights at night. Staying at this hotel almost kinda substituted for the feeling of flying in a plane, haha. The bathroom definitely feels posh. Not huge, but still the kind of bathroom I can imagine in a music video, haha. Grey marble everywhere, with some recessed marble areas for shelving. A very clever design with the reach-through closet (you'll see) if I recall correctly, which allowed you to open the same closet while standing next to the entrance door, and also while you were inside the bathroom. The pool and gym were closed to guests, during our stay. We decided to pay the extra cash for breakfast. Breakfast is really wonderful, and it's the obvious star of this hotel, from our opinion. No, the selection is not the most extensive that you'll find, but you won't find any "hot foods" at sickly room temperature at this breakfast spread! There is maybe 1 cook/chef per 3 dishes, for the entire breakfast buffet. I'm Bonvoy Platinum, IHG Platinum, and Hilton Diamond, with many stays across those portfolios here in Seoul, and the dining area for breakfast at the Signiel Seoul, with the white/gold and glass, and view outside, is possibly the best, most glamorous breakfast spot in all of Seoul. The dining service during breakfast is also very good. The staff is polite and doesn't rush you in picking up your plates. Breakfast at the Signiel Seoul is maybe the ONLY hotel breakfast buffet in Seoul where I wouldn't mind staying for 90+ minutes, just talking to 1-3 people and enjoying the morning. I think our biggest disappointment was the lounge. The lounge is pretty small, and it was too crowded, with basically nothing to eat more than some pretzels/crackers. It struck me that the hotel was going for, maybe, a more elegant look for the lounge. (Buffet in a lounge can look a bit... desperate.) But there was, basically, unlimited champagne, white wine, and rose wine. Staying at this hotel for a 1-night staycation was a nice experience. Would I come back to stay another staycation night at the Signiel Seoul, for the new currently lowest price on cheaptickets for USD $320 (breakfast not included)? Given that I'm Marriott Plat, IHG Plat, and Hilton Diamond, probably not. But if my parents were in town, and I wanted to impress them with a hotel breakfast, I think the Signiel Seoul would be at the top of my list. Anyways, for what it is, at this price point, I give it 4.5/5 stars. And I'm willing to round up. :-)
