The Signiel is a Great Hotel. The views are amazing. The hotel begins about the 80th floor and goes to 100. We just loved staying there. The breakfast buffet featured mostly Western food, but it was very good. Be sure to check whether or not you have a river view. It would be worth it to pay a bit more to get it. The view is stunning. But in truth, all views are amazing. The fitness center and pool are complimentary, but there is an annoying charge for the sauna. This is the one negative of this hotel. Previously, sauna access was free. I hope the Hotel reevaluates this bad decision. All hotel guests may come to the lounge to have a complimentary champagne and simple snacks each evening. We loved staying at the Signiel and we will be back.

located next to Lotte world and shopping mall it's super convenient for shoppers and lots of eateries. if staying with kids lounge access is prohibited but they'll provide 2 tickets to the observation deck or 2 tickets to the aquarium. staff wise it's a nice touch they open the door but the 79+ floors to get to the lobby and your ears popping each time is a bit annoying. the staff also felt very cold and didn't really make us feel welcome compared to the shilla, four seasons, park Hyatt and DDM JW Marriott. the service was exponentially better at Signeil Busan but in Seoul location staff didn't seem to give you that warm welcome. taxi service is also very long as it's complicated to get in and out of the hotel. other than the obvious spectacular views of Seoul the rooms even the premier rooms are a bit on the smaller side. the pool is indoors and the pool locker rooms I'm willing to bet are the smallest maybe I'm Korea amongst 5 star hotels. overall prob would not recommend for families and prob won't visit again.

One of the most extraordinary hotels in the world. Stunning views, world class service, extraordinary restaurants. Many different room types, turn down service with a little extra sweet for the children… one of the best in the world.

Overall the stay was fine but considering the very high price point, we expected more. The view is definetely amazing, but regarding service it just didn’t meet our expectations. Very long waiting time to check-in, very little room amenities, turndown service almost inexistant (no little treats like other hotels of this range offer), no table at the executive club which we had paid for, and this reflects our overall feeling which is: « yes, but… » They already warn you that there could be a queue to get a table for breakfast when checking in - this did not happen in the end but still, is this really 5-star level? I will not go back, nor will I recommend it around me.

The hotel is superb! Starting from the location where everything is within walking distance. Shops of both local and international brands, including the luxuones, restaurants of almost all cuisines, cafes, and even theme park. The hotel is super classy with beautiful decorations. The room was perfect with a breathtaking view over all Seoul. I loved how the room is organised for the dressingroom to the spacious bathroom. No single amenity was missed. Service was very good, and the staff were doing their best to satisfy. My only take is the language. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the staff as they were poorly skilled with English speaking. I am sure if they enhance this part, they will see a significant flow of foreign tourists

This is one of the best hotels in the world. Has an amazing view, rooms are incredible, but the service is flawless. Breakfast was very special, as was the spa facilities. The only area I think could do with a little bit of improvement is the Bar, the drinks could be better and the could offer better snacks given the price of the drinks, but the setting and service are still very good.

In my years of travel to Seoul, I have only stayed on Gangbuk but thought I would take a chance a couple of days before work started to stay in Gangnam and get to know the neighborhood and the sights a bit. The Signiel is a beautiful hotel. Very professionally run - all the reviews below highlight that and they’re all true. The design of the hotel and the hotel floors is beautiful - the sliding doors separating the room corridors from the elevator and public spaces are genius and the overall layout is wonderful. The rooms are well appointed, clean and bright, not the sterile business style you see in the Gangbuk hotels. I think that this, like the Shilla, is a destination hotel even for Koreans. Young Koreans. Very young noisy Koreans who come here to staycation. I did not hear any language spoken among the guests other than Korean. The clientele definitely detracts from the perceived level of the hotel in terms of class and style which is a shame. The hyped up breakfast buffet is just that - nice but nothing close to Four Seasons. And sadly, the two nights I stayed at the Signiel were the foggiest nights in all of Seoul’s recent history! Not a single thing was visible through the thick fog. So I can’t comment on probably the only reason people choose to stay here which is the view. Oh well. Location is not what I expected. Thought it would be closer to Apugujeongdong and Chongdamgong but it really isn’t. And first time exposure to the Lotte universe in Seoul was truly eye-opening. One benefit of being here in subpar weather was that everything is connected underground - The high-end and duty free shopping, some local stores, the market with its never ending food options. I believe entrance to subways is also easily accessible although I did not try it. All in all, a nice quiet stay to recover from jet lag but too out of the way for my interests and probably not enough draw to bring me back.

My fiancee really wanted to show me this hotel (having stayed there previously) and it exceeded all my expectations. Highlights for me were the beautiful view of the river from our room, and the amazing breakfast every day. Tip: Show up early for breakfast on weekends, it can get quite crowded and if you show up after 8:30 ish you may have to wait 20+ minutes for a table.

I’ve been a fan of Signiel pre Covid .. but I’ve just returned to Signiel last month and was very disappointed… the service level were not as good as before, and what’s worse they charge for toothbrush ! Housekeeping were haphazard too . Will not be going back soon. The 2 stars are for the view and their comfortable beds!
