The hotel was fabulous and the Super friendly staff are there 24 hours to help. One thing to take note is that, you have to climb a big flight of stairs when you exit from the subway and the Housekeeping is not 24 hours but good point is that they do makeup the room daily during our one week stay. Although the breakfast spread is the same Everyday but we enjoyed it, a typical Korean breakfast essential with rice, soup, side dishes; isn't this why you came to Korea for? Anyway, there are some food places that opens till late nearby so you can just drop by to buy some take out if needed and 7-11 is just near the corner. One more thing is, the air con in the room serves as a heater during the winter so it helps when you're back from the cold shopping. The room that we stayed even have a bathtub to enjoy! Furthermore, if you don't mind getting naked in front of strangers(that's their sauna culture), there is a sauna, steam room and Onsen just in the hotel basement itself and completely free for hotel guest!! Location is very very good(apart from the big flight of stairs) as it is located just 2 stations from myeongdong, 1 station or even walking distance to dongdaemun. All the other stations are easily accessible by the subway as well. Enjoy your trip with youngbin hotel as I did.

It's one of those basic hotels, but feels like you are given more than what you paid for. The rooms are spacious enough, has all the things you would basically need, and a spacious bathroom too. It's the kind of hotel you wouldn't stay the whole day in, since of course we had plans to go around Korea, but would offer you a nice, peace and quiet stay to let you get enough energy for another day of tours. It's also located near convenience stores. You could also find plenty of places to eat just across the street when you exit beside Hotel The Designers. The only downside of this hotel is that they offer the same breakfast choices for those 3 nights we stayed there. 2 kinds of soup, sausages, scrambled steamed eggs, salad, rice, bread, a bit of side dishes (kimchi, etc), and orange juice. Aside from that, all else gave me and my wife an awesome stay in Seoul. :)

On the second leg of our trip, I booked Youngbin Hotel for 3 nights for my husband and myself. Because we intended to be out sightseeing for entire days, we decided not to book a luxury hotel since we would only be staying in the hotel room just to sleep at night. For a budget hotel, Youngbin was pretty nice. We were allowed to check in before 12 noon, the room had complete toiletries and towels, tea and coffee maker, free breakfast every morning, and daily room service! In fact, we didn't even need to ask: whenever we returned back to our room in the evening, our bed was made, towels were replaced, and we had 2 free bottles of water in the mini-fridge. What was especially convenient for us was the location of the hotel - it was located along a quiet street, but near enough convenience stores, shops, restaurants, bus stops, airport transfers (KAL limousine 6701 and 6702 have stops nearby) and subway stations. We would normally take Dongdaemun History and Culture Park exit 9 as this was just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for those who want a simple, quiet, comfortable stay on a budget.

This property is very well located, in a shopping area, easily accessible by subway, near a bus stop to the airport, large rooms, good hot shower, air condition, all amenities, elevator, FREE laundry machine to serve the customers and a great FREE sauna for the guests. Very good free wifi in the rooms. Breakfast is limited for long stays. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The staff speak basic english but will try to serve all your needs.

This hotel is very close to Dongdaemun Historical Park (exit 5). Just right after you exit the station, you'll see the hotel on your left across the street behind "The Designer" hotel. Walk through the alley. One extra point is that there is 7eleven on the street before you get to the hotel. Good in case you need some snacks at night. Dongdaemun shopping complex is near to the hotel as well making having dinner without really taking the subway anywhere is possible. The room is good. There is aircon, hairdryer, electric kettle, minifridge, and a 110v converter there. Skin lotion, hair gel, shampoo, shower gel are free to use, but they are (maybe) from cheap, otherwise unknown brand. Each floor has its own wifi router. There is a sauna on B1 floor, just in case you want relax after long trip. Toilet is cool. There is bidet which pumps water, air and even LED-lit. Who want to see the inside lol? But, I find the whole bathroom a little bit "dirty" look to me. But maybe because the bathtub has scratches from using or they use darker tiles on the floor. Overall, with hotel this price, I think the value for my money is nice.
