One of the best things was the pick up from the airport in a comfortable mini bus. the hotel looks from the outside like a 100 year old building and the rooms have been adapted so it is not a modern purpose built chain hotel. But it is cosy and the staff are nice and it took little persuasion for the night desk manager to open a bottle of wine for us at 3:30 in the morning. Great staff, good music in the breakfast area. A 20 minutes stroll from the old town is not necessarily a bad thing.
