I would suggest book with them directly and they will provide you free airport transfer. Although you can take a Bolt at about 30 GLE approximately.
The Google location will take you a bit further from the property so take the actual link from the hotel so that you reach at their doorstep.
The hotel is a home with multiple rooms. The guests are very warm and friendly and will go all out to help. They will make you feel like family.
The rooms are accessible by staircase and that can be a challenge if you have heavy luggage and I presume one travelling abroad will have. Although the host will help but I guess out of trying to help you will also end up carrying a few as there is a limitation for one person to carry a luggage.
There were so much greenery inside the house and it was a great feeling. The walls are wooded finish and thus allows the room to be kept warm.
They do have a breakfast menu which you can negotiate and decide. In case you are leaving early it would be advisable as not everyone will find Georgian food to excite the taste bud. The menu consists of omelette and beverages of your choice. Pan cake and jam, freshly cut salads, vegetable preparation mostly consisting of egg plant , salami and ham, bread etc.
The room was small but comfortable. The bed and mattresses were very soft and comfortable to my liking. The bathroom had all the toiletries required and came with a bath tub.
There was a water dispenser at the reception so I would suggest fill up your bottle or buy large bottles from the grocery store on the opposite side of the road. Nobody seems to offer water in this part of the world.
I have to share an incident which will speak volumes of hospitality of the host. It was raining badly and we couldn’t get our money exchanged. So I asked if they can offer me cash against my USD. I was asked how much I need for the time being and they handed over 110 GLE just like that and asked to return back the next day. I mean I have never ever in so many years of travelling have experienced this kind of generosity.
I am definitely going to stay back here during my next trip to Tbilisi

My wife and I drove up to Tbilisi from Yerevan with our 7 month old son for our first anniversary, and we were very pleased with everything — the owner of the hotel greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room, which was a huge immaculately clean suite with windows onto the treelined street below.
We really loved how intimate the place feels, and the level of hospitality on the part of the staff is perhaps the best I've ever experienced in any of the 40 some countries I've traveled to. Being with our son, it was quite difficult some mornings to get downstairs with him to eat breakfast, and the staff were quick to help us out and bring our breakfast to our room instead.
Also, the breakfast was delicious, and was slightly different every morning but there was always an assortment of different meats, khachapuri, fresh local fruit, cheeses, pastries, and of course coffee! It's obvious that they put a lot of care into making sure that you have a great start to your day.
This excellent service, along with the relatively small size of the hotel, really makes you feel like you're staying in a very exclusive and luxurious place. Hotel British House is without question high up on the list of my favorite hotels in the world, and we will certainly be coming back!

This hotel was incredible from start to finish. I'd just returned from a 5* luxury resort in Greece and stayed in this hotel the following week and it was far better.
The wine was incredible, the staff were young and hip and trendy and they were very versed on local places to go and things to do, but also the history of the country, which made for excellent breakfast conversation.
Their breakfast is all homemade and they have cake and delicious coffee and traditional Eastern European breakfast and you will be overfed!
The wife of the hotel owner was also a gem and more than accommodating.
The hotel itself has an luxury antique and yet almost rustic feel, but still those extra touches of luxury which make it stand out from others. The rooms are very big and the minifridges are stocked full of high quality items and local wine, which isn't overpriced.
The showers were almost like Banyas in that you could enclose the room and steam it out and the whole stay made it difficult to leave the actual hotel at times.
I was back indoors most nights with my left overs, listening to the thunderstorms and watching Georgian Television by 8pm and fully enjoyed being there!
I fully recommend this hotel and I hope they will continue to keep the quality high and the prices low. It was literally the best and only vacation I've ever had where I left with zero complaints and feeling full!

Everything was fabulous, from the arrival to the departure! We will remember the people at the Hotel British House fondly because of how they treated and took care of us and provided everything that we needed. They even gave us a mobile phone because we stayed in the apartment away from the hotel, which gave us a local experience. The flat was spacious and included a table, furnished kitchen, and a separate room with a single bed. The balcony provides a southward city view. Each morning, we walked to the hotel for a hearty and homemade breakfast served by a lovely lady. It is always the service of the staff that makes a stay. This hotel delivered in terms of hospitality! I hope that we get a chance to stay there again.

Our time at this hotel was so comfortable, not only because of the impeccable cleanliness and physical comfort of our room, but the incredible service of the staff. It felt like a family run bed and breakfast, with a very personable touch. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions or requests we had. When my father was unable to make the trip due to covid, they even gifted as a little bottle of Georgian wine as a courtesy to deliver to him as a gift! It goes without saying that the location was impeccable, we barely even needed to use taxi or public transit (we are avid walkers) because of the centrality of the location. I loved being in a lived in neighbourhood close to so many hip new restaurants, and faaaar from the tourist bustle.

The entire staff at this charming boutique hotel was warm and helpful and utterly charming. The rooms are each unique and comfortable, the breakfast is enormous and the location is walking distance from so many things you will want to see. The lobby and reception area is loaded with artifacts and objet d'art that will fascinate you. Enjoy your stay!

We were warmly welcomed and well looked after. We were aware that the hotel has narrow stairs and is on many levels in the Vera district above the Rustaveli metro station. The staff were ready to carry our (heavy) bags up the various staircases.
Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts similarly - the high carb content was very Georgian (khachapuri at the start of the day at least sets you up well).
The staff sorted out a day trip, and were ready with lots of advice on where to go in the city. We would gladly return.

It was my first solo trip and I was a bit apprehensive since I had booked the hotel online, based on past reviews. However my personal experience superseded the reviews and I was extremely impressed with the. hotel, beautifully maintained in one of the by-lanes close to the Main Street with good eating houses and restaurants nearby. It was near Rustaveli metro station too, so commuting was not an issue. The hotel by itself is very pretty and impeccable. Very clean and hygienic. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. Mr, Sota and his excellent, friendly, courteous staff were just superb. They all went out of their way to make my stay a memorable one. Right from the lady serving breakfast in the morning to all the Front Desk staff, including housekeeping were just great, so kind and humble. The hotel is well decorated and very well maintained. You feel like you're staying with your extended family. So kudos to Mr Sota and his staff, keep it up!

I usually dont write much about hotels and i am staying in quite a lot 4 and 5 star hotels worldwide per year. even though this isnt a super posh hotel and rather a cozy family run boutique hotel i have to say it must have been the best service in a hotel i ever encountered in my 25 years of travelling. it is exceptionally well run and all the staff members have been more helpful and attentive than anyone could ever ask for. During my 7 days stay they fixed occuring issues always immediatly and have been basically reading my mind and offered help before i even could ask when it came to taxis, food, payments, cleaning and whatever you could think of. Just exceptional, especially because i am usually very critical of the service industry.

I spent 10 days at the Hotel British House in September 2022 while I explored Tblisi. It was a wonderful stay. The hotel room was large, clean and characterful, the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful and the hotel ideally placed for exploring the city. The breakfasts were ample and tours and taxi pick ups arranged by the hotel were reasonably priced and punctual.

Most people from the west will fly to Kutaisi airport because Wizzair which flies there is half the price of Georgian which flies to Tbilisi. You can also fly to Tbilisi from Dubai, Moscow and Istanbul on airlines which are less costly than Georgian.
From Tbilisi airport there are Ford Transit minivans to Tbilisi station. This will take you to the main minibus station, which is two stops from Rustaveli on the metro. This would be both the easiest and the cheapest way to get to the British house hotel. There is a bus which runs up Chovalidze past the hotel and another which skirts the hill behind the hotel. But it is impossible to get hold of a bus map and none are posted even at the bus station. I do not recall the bus numbers.
From Kutaisi, there is a Georgian bus, which meets every Wizzair flight. It will take you to Tbilisi in about five hours or kutais in half an hour. You are likely to be dumped alongside a freeway in Tbilisi with speeding traffic in the small hours, because wizzair mostly arrives at night.
From there you should ask a Georgian to phone the Russian version of Uber, which will charge you 4/5 Lari ( £2/$2). If you hail one in the street the driver will demand 50 Lari. You can do the same from Tbilisi airport, which is a half hour from the hotel and should costs 10-15 Lari. But you will certainly be swindled unless you use the app.
I reported this information in my original report, because it is vital, but it was edited.
As I said in my report, breakfast is Georgian. Although porridge will be familiar to most english-speakers as will raspberries ( provided at my special request) 0melettes and blinis are international but the potato cakes are Georgian.
How many floors in the hotel and r they accessed by the elevator
About 2 mins. walk from Rustaveli - but Rustaveli is a very long street.
About 10-15 mins. walk from Freedom Square.
It is a boutique hotel.
