If you are looking for something with atmosphere and a great location this is the place for you. The owners are lovely people, breakfast is great, and the location can't be beat. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone interested in more than a chain-hotel experience. Chat with the owners, pet the cat, hang with other travelers while making a...

This Inn is owned by a fantastic husband and wife, who simply cannot do enough for you. You're treated like family here, every minute. We stayed here for 2 nights, in between travels from Turkey, and to Armenia, as per our guide's recommendation, and so glad we did. Tbilisi old town was truly surprising, with it's vast greenery and waterfalls....

Hotel has perhaps the best location in Tbilisi located at the bottom end of old town, across street from Metekhi church, and across the bridge from the tram up to the Nariqala fortress (for instance Marriot is at the top and not near as much). The hotel is also within a block of all the restaurants and bars of area...

Stayed here for a week with my girlfriend, brother, and mother. The Marani is fantastic boutique hotel, located in an authentic centuries-old house that was renovated with modern amenities. The rooms are comfortably-sized; not huge, but certainly not cramped. The owners, a married couple, are incredibly helpful and friendly. They will truly do everything in their power to make your...

This has to be the best hotel experience I have ever had and confirms all the hyperbole I have heard about Georgian hospitality. First a word of warning, if you are looking for five star facilities (spa, restaurants, swimming pool etc) this is not the place for you. This is a beautiful small hotel in right in downtown Tbilisi, that...

I well and truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I stayed in a gorgeous and spacious room with a beautiful view, the bathroom was modern and there was a balcony too. The owners are helpful and friendly to the point of it being comical, as they have a super smile always ready for you, and whatever you need it's...

“Our room only had windows to the courtyard and was very quiet. Some have outside windows with more noise, but more view. Choose according to how lightly you sleep.”
Travelibrarian, Oct 11, 2014 | Read review
“One room has a very nice balcony, but it faces the street. It's a very pleasant set up, but it might not be ideal for very light sleepers; it's a small one-lane street, but Georgian cars (and people) can be loud. All of the rooms have windows that face the quaint inner courtyard, and have handy in-room air conditioners.”
