I stayed here for a week recently and have nothing but praise for the Silver Hotel. It's a delightful little place tucked away discreetly in the Old Town, with very helpful staff, rooms cleaned and made up daily, air con, free wifi, a safe in the room, breakfast available, clean towels daily, I could go on. My room had a wonderful balcony which meant I could sit with a glass of the local wine and watch the world go by. Loved it and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again next time I an Tbilisi
The hotel is perfectly situated in the Old Town, convenient for many tourist sites and the many bars and restaurants but secluded enough to offer peace and quiet. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the service polite and helpful. The hotel serves an excellent breakfast, but service starts at 09:00 (typical of almost everywhere in Georgia) and so you may miss out if you want an early start for a guided tour. Overall, though, I would highly recommend the Silver Hotel as great value for money. Tip : Ask the hotel to arrange a taxi to collect you from the airport on arrival. It will save you a lot of money and ensure you arrive safely.
The location is extremely central to old town but tucked off the main roads so it's quiet. The room was very spacious & included bottled water, hairdryer, kettle with tea / coffee & a fridge (with mini bar which was chargeable). The bathroom had a wet-room style shower but the mop provided made it super easy to dry up. Our room had two single beds which were comfortable. Most importantly for myself, everything was clean! I can't not mention that we accidentally booked the incorrect date but when we showed up (unexpectedly!), the housekeeper called the owner who was happy to accommodate us without any extra charge. That level of fantastic customer service is difficult to find so when it happens, it has to be mentioned!!! Thank you so much for the lovely stay!
Stayed here with my wife over New Year and we had an excellent time The hotel is situated in the heart of the old town withing a five to ten minute walk of shops, bars and restaurants. It is tucked up a small quite street and can be hard to find on the first occasion The owners were very nice and responded to messages and emails very quickly and also arranged taxis at short notice Our room was very clean with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay
Just was on a week-long mission to explore Georgia, and the hotel perfectly served all my needs. The place is modest, cozy and welcoming. Location can’t be better – quiet yet central, just a couple of minutes from the heart of Old City with tons of tour agencies and even more private cars offering rides to anywhere, a nice supermarket, restaurants, cafes, shops, entertainments, and bubbling life. It is not really a hotel, but rather bed and breakfast with super hospitable and attentive owner, who charmed me with her unpretentious guidance and heavenly breakfast crepes. I happened to stay in two rooms – the one with a balcony, small; the second, twice bigger – with a window facing corridor, which required keeping lights on. Both rooms were comfortable and clean. My only problem was a shower that was attached to the wall with no “corral”, and water going down through special hole in the floor…so I had to deal with very wet floor if returned to the bathroom after taking a shower. Light slippers were provided though. I understand why guests I met at breakfast keep returning to this hotel year after year. If I am in Tbilisi again, I will again stay there.…
