Our boutique hotel, housed in a historic Old Town building, features 17 uniquely designed rooms preserving the city's cultural heritage. Immerse yourself in the artistry of Musya Qeburia, a local talent who hand-painted custom art murals in each room. Experience Tbilisi's history with a modern touch at The Blue Fox Hotel, where tradition meets contemporary comfort.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
After doing quite a bit of research on boutique hotels in Tbilisi, I decided to book the House Hotel based on the online ratings and photos. While it was admittedly a short stay, it definitely did not disappoint! The junior suite was not only very nicely appointed and spacious, but also featured private access up a stairwell and direct views of the charming interior courtyard where the outdoor portion of the hotel restaurant is located. The staff members were all very helpful and accommodating, giving me recommendations on nearby restaurants and even places to run along the river. The highlight of my time there, however, was the wine tasting with Anna as the sommelier. Having experienced quite a few tastings in recent times, I must say that she was one of the most engaging, knowledgeable, and spirited wine educators I have encountered. She stayed with my friend and me for nearly two hours talking to us about the Georgian wine making process and the differences between varietals. If you have the chance to book a private tasting with her, it is worth every last Lari!
Although I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat, I gave the following suggestions upon checkout:
1. When I paid the bill after my wine tasting, dinner, and decision to pick up a few bottles of wine, I was not given the chance to pay for the wine tasting itself. As a result, there was confusion upon checkout whether I had paid for the tasting or not. It would likely be easier for future guests if they could just pay for everything after a wine tasting and meal (or make it clear that everything will be placed on the room).
2. The door to the junior suite does not fully close if left to shut automatically. Unless one pushes it firmly into the closed position, it stays ajar and then starts to beep. Recommend that the engineer adjusts the door hinges so that it closes when one releases the door.
3. It would be helpful if the bathroom sink had more counter space where one could place toiletries. Perhaps a small, slender side table could be placed in the room to address this matter.
As these concerns are all minor matters, I look forward to the next time I can come to Tbilisi and stay at the House Hotel. Thanks again for the fantastic two days!

I was part of a tour group which used the House Hotel as a home base as we moved in and out of Tbilisi and visited the other parts of the country. This hotel has all the amenities of a large hotel but is small and friendly. All of the staff are great from Housekeeping right up to management, all available and usually on site. The included breakfast is delicious and well done. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds, pillows and bed linens. The bathrooms are sparkling clean as well as the hallways. The elevator was a bonus in getting luggage up and down (although there are only three floors of rooms). It is very well located for getting around old Tbilisi on foot but a little challenging vehicular access. I would happily return to the House Hotel, my home in Tbilisi.

If you haven't already booked for flight to Georgia, hurry up and do so and make sure you book your hotel accommodations in The House Hotel Old Tbilisi. The House Hotel is an elegant and stylish boutique style Hotel centrally located within walking distance of all of the major attractions in the capital.
The hotel has been resigned in such way that preserves the vintage look and feel while complimenting its character with modern elements. The combination of colors and aesthetics are meticulously crafted and truly unique.
From the moment we booked our accommodations, the hotel staff had reached out offering their support to help us plan our vacation. And from the moment we arrived, they continued to go the extra mile to maximize our Georgian experience. The entire staff has been extremely helpful and we personally thank Nino, Natia, Farhad, Mohamed, and Lasha for their support and outstanding customer service.
The Blue Fox Bar and Restaurant is a great way to start your day or night offering a variety of local and international dishes that are extremely tasty. The bar also has live performances in the evening with new talent showcased each night to keep things fresh.

We saw this hotel during our Tbilisi walking tour and we had to stay there! Stylishly designed courtyard and lobby. Good sized room with lovely decors painted by local artists. Bed was super comfy and we had our best sleep in Tbilisi. Property has an extensive breakfast menu cooked to order and their outdoor dining area courtyard, the Blue Fox is calm and tranquil and has a great atmosphere. Staff are friendly, kind and helpful and made us feel that was truly our home away from home!

We chose this hotel over another more modern one for its location in the historic part of the city and are glad we did! Not just because of its charming, central location but because of our actual time here. Simply put, we love this hotel.
Even before we arrived, Nino and Lasha reached out to us, sending a city guide and talking by phone via WhatsApp to answer our questions and arrange our airport pickup. Because our flight arrived at 11:30PM, the hotel restaurant had closed so Lasha helped us order delivery—including our first bottle of Georgian wine! We ate on our terrace , looking at the lights of the city.
Our king sized bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was equipped with everything we needed. I wasn’t crazy about the bathroom, which, though it was roomy, flooded after showering. But that is literally my only complaint.
The staff made us dinner reservations, directions, thermal bath reservations—anything and everything we needed. This kind of care and attention makes this hotel 5 stars. Much better than a fancy Marriott.
The breakfast was good; the restaurant for dinner, snacks, cocktails and wine was fantastic! We went there every day to unwind and enjoyed everything we ate and drank. Big shout out to our waiter Nicholas, who helped us choose wine and was just a delightful person. The terrace there is lit by strung lights, which makes it romantic and intimate.
When I think of our time in Tbilisi, I will look back at our stay here as one of the highlights.

We came here as a couple on vacation and found this hotel from other travellers’ blogs. Turns out this hotel is indeed a great choice. The location is in the middle of everything and the hotel itself can even be accessed by airport bus 337. The facilities in the room are great and the bed is comfortable. Staffs are also very friendly and attentive and willing to support on many travel needs. Overall, we had a great stay and highly recommended this hotel to fellow travellers.

Great place, located at the entrance of the old town, so that most tourist sites in both the old town and the Liberty Square area are in walking distance. Delicious breakfast options (no buffet). The mostly young, and ever so friendly staff members go out of their way to be of help to their guests. Great price/value ratio, highly recommendable.
