Such a cozy little boutique hotel. The staff are so nice, especially Anna the hostess. Perfect location to go anywhere in Tbilisi and the breakfast was so good especially because Georgians aren’t really breakfast people so places are closed in the mornings. Definitely would stay here again if I come back to Tbilisi.
Hi My first and only trip to georgia was in Kindli hotel. I booked it from home and because of my previous trips i thought that this is a big hotel with at least 30 rooms. But when we arrived there i saw a small hotel with just 5 rooms. A very good staff with a anytime smile. We spent 5 days in there. They had breakfast, but it was very little to me. We didint have any problem there because of one thing. i have booked the room with trace, the door opened to a avenue that did not have any sun light, so our room was very cold. I said to their reception for air conditioner but it didn't work and they had to turn on anything else for us that couldn't warm the room very well. Room was clean and every day they did it. Very silent Atmosphere. If i come back to Tbilisi i will go there one time more because i love that trace who we were eating breakfast in it. Our budget for this trip was 259$ for 5 days. Thank you Kindli.…
We found this hotel after the one we looked for was closed. Fabulous discovery. Very friendly staff. Breakfast 15 lari extra but rooms cheap. Excellent value for money. Room little small but ohers bigger. Well placed for everything. Spoke good english. Highly recommended.
Since this hotel Is located only 2 minutes walk from the main street we couldn't get any closer if we wanted. It's truly a boutique hotel, don't expect a big room or such but it's big enough and comfortable enough for in Tbilisi. The only thing that you want to do in a room is to sleep nd a shower. Get outside and explore the city!!!
Bad smell. Small room.expensive breakfast. When we booked that by booking.com the receptionist said they dont have any free room!after long waiting there they accepted to give us a small room .I give to this hotel !ziro ..!
This is indeed a boutique hotel. The rooms are small and the height of the room likevise :) But that said, it has a top-service minded staff. The price for a room is very good for a hotel in the center of Tbilisi. Mainstreet is only 2 min. walking.
We made a reservation through booking.com, and as usual I received a confirmation mail, that everything was set. However, when showing up at the hotel for the check-in the lady at the reception desk - by the way with a very arrogant behaviour - told us that there was a problem and that the hotel was overbooked. She literally send us on the street. We suspect, that they simply prefer giving the room to people who pay more... Watch out when booking there!
I mainly agree with "Seychelian"'s review, except that the horrible behaviour of the manager of the hotel spoiled our holidays. PROS: - good central location - decent prices - except the manager, the staff was pleasant CONS: - rooms extremely small, some of them (nr.4) not even big enough to lay a suitcase on floor. - unprofessional, dishonest and rude attitude of the manager - need to walk through the reception to go to the bathroom. The only toilet on the first floor is often occupied - on the first floor you hear everything going on in the reception : the manager chatting, the chinese clients talking very loud, Our problems : We booked one single and one double room on the first floor. When we arrived, because of a mistake on Booking.com website, the room with "2 double beds" was "1 double bed". We supposed the mistake was probably not on purpose from the hotel Kindli, so we were quietly searching for any quick solution. The hotel was not full, so Maria, the manager, could have solved the problem very simply. Instead of that, she looked down on us, even refusing to watch with us the problem on internet, showed her own computer, and told that if we were not happy we could leave. At midnight with 2 little kids sleeping on our knees ?!... The next days, all went even worst, despite of the intervention of the owner of the hotel, who was very pleasant but who did'nt really take the bull by the horns. The second evening, problem was still not solved, we were still 5 people sleeping in 4 beds, it was late. We couldn't undestand that behaviour, endless arguings of bad faith. It was too late to leave. We endend calling the police (yes). We could never imagine we would have to do that on day...The police was very professional ; after listening everybody, and seeing our booking, they obliged her to give us bigger room, But we lost again 2 hours... The next night, ti was not over ! She cutted of the water while my daughter was having a shower, and at 10 in the evening my little boys suddenly shouted of fear : they had been waken up by the strong noise of a driller in the neighbour wall. We even received a message from Booking.com asking us to acknoledge that we didn't book in at the hotel ! Too many lies and rudeness. We should have left on the second day. At the end of the stay the owner came very kindly to apologize and offered us a bottle, but our stay was spoiled. We had lost 2 evenings that we could have peacefuly spent in this lovely town of Tbilisi. In conclusion we would NOT recommend this hotel because of the un believable attitude of Maria the manager. My wife was about to cry every night There are many better hotels.…
When we took this hotel in the first place we did it because of the convenient price. After arriving there we could see that it was not a regular big city hotel. The hotel is really familiar, cozy and carefully decorated. Because of several circumstances, we switched from room to room three times. We tried rooms with bathroom and without it. The room without bathroom had the bathroom situated next to the common areas. This is a little bit inconvenient but we must say that that bathroom is super nice and much better than the rooms with it included. Additionally for us it was not a problem to share it with other guests since we never had to wait for using it. The rooms with bathroom are also nice. All of them are nice as I am saying and have airco which is great in Tbilisi but a little bit small. In any case, and as I said before this is the spirit of the hotel: to feel like in a big familiar house. The manager is really nice and she helped us out with some issues. Lastly I would like to really point out the great views from the great terrace and the amazing location of the hotel close to EVERYTHING. …
We stayed at this hotel/hostel just after it had opened. We stayed in one of their double "rooms" on the first floor. Our experience was a mixed one. Pros: - Great location - Good decor - Friendly staff Cons: - Room ridiculously small (just a bed with small strip around one side). Not big enough to - put suitcases on floor. This became REALLY inconvenient. - You have to walk through the reception to go to the bathroom to shower (very inconvenient) and because it is also the only toilet on the first floor it is occupied a LOT of the time. - In the 2 double rooms on the first floor you hear EVERYTHING going on in the reception and when people come back late at night. You also hear the receptionist chatting on the phone all night. This get very annoying. In conclusion I would NOT recommend you rent the 1st floor (cheaper) rooms. There are rooms on the 2nd floor which are more expensive. I do not think that you encounter all these issue up there but you will pay an extra $20/night for that privilege) To be honest there are much better options in Tbilisi for the same or lower price. I would not stay here again.…
