I was in Georgia for 6 days as a couple trip with my husband and with stayed in a standard double bed room. Shota Botique Hotel is simple, elegant, clean and neat. It's proximity to Rustaveli Avenue made every trip for us extremely convenient. Close to the metro station, and any other tour's meeting point. Staff are supper polite and helpful. Food is delicious and worth the price.

Good location Waiting 15 minutes for hot water .YOU need to leave the tab open to get the hot water. REALLLY? No bath in the suite for 3...why? Breafast not good.. Waiting 15 minutes for a boiled egg, 10 minutes for tea, only white bread for toasts, muzli finishes very quikly, then you can not get more. You need to ask for olive oil, takes 10 minutes to get. Very very poor breakfast, service not warm...no smile.. . Sad hotel, no view

My girlfriend, her mother, and step-father stayed here for almost a week. I cannot say enough good things about it. The comfort, amenities, and location are perfect, but the standout was the extraordinary hotel staff - especially Mariam. We had some personal business to take care of in Tbilisi, and Mariam went above and beyond to assist and call (because we do not speak Georgian) government offices to ensure our business was successful. I have never had a better customer service experience at a hotel anywhere in the world. Mariam and the rest of the staff deserve every commendation for their service. Didi madloba! I cannot wait to return!

Great little boutique hotel in the heart of Tbilisi - next door to the Georgian Parliament building and close to many of the museums and galleries. Also close to Mount Stepantsminda. The whole hotel was nicely presented, the room was quiet, spacious and filled with light. The bed was very comfy. We only ate at the hotel a few times - only one restaurant option - but what we ate was good. There is also a nice little courtyard to eat outside and small pool and gym in the basement. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only (small complaint) we had was that it would have been nice to have a second option for food. However, with the hotels location it wasn't a major problem.

This upscale boutique hotel just off of Shota Rustaveli Ave at the Freedom Square end is a pleasant and quiet spot to spend a couple of days. It’s a 5 minute walk to most of the museums and a 10-15 minutes to old town. The rooms are moderately sized with a comfortable bed and linens, plenty of storage and outlets for charging electronics. The bathroom is on the small size but has plenty of counter space and a roomy shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Amenities include a safe, hair dryer, mini bar, goof Wi-Fi connection and a water boiler with coffee and tea. Hotel staff speaks good English and they competently arranged transport to and from the airport. Breakfast Served in the Melograno restaurant dining room and terrace breakfast includes a menu of hot items – porridge, cooked to order eggs, sides of vegetables and breakfast meats - and a breakfast buffet. The cold buffet includes a selection of fruit and fresh vegies as well as baked apples, beet root and pumpkin, eggplant rolls, several bread choices, cold cuts and cheeses, dried fruit and yogurt, preserved fruit and cream and a couple kinds of cereal. They also had a couple of prepared item, i.e., cheese and meat rolled in a crepe type bread, fried corn bread with pikhali (vegetable/walnut spread) and khachapuri (cheese bread) - all of which I thought were bland tasting. Water and juice are also available. Coffee is served to your table.

I was staying 4 times before at this hotel. It used to be ok. This time we have an apartment in Tbilisi, where my family lives, but since my husband was going to visit, I specially came personally a week before to book hotel and pay for the whole stay. When in the evening I checked in and took shower I saw several pieces of black hair on the floor. Then I looked under the sink and found a lot!! of black hair, some of it looked like hair from head and some like pubic hair. Disgusting!!! Also in the room there were hair on the floor, dust and some bread crumbles. I called receptionist, she came with housekeeper. I showed them all these. Of course I was that upset, that I was shouting that this is unacceptable, that I came to pay a week ago, and that the room should be spotless, clean and prepaired for arrival especially during COVID time! They offered to clean the room, I was upset, cause had to wake up at 4am and wanted to relax, not to have all these hussle. I also mentioned that the next day I want to meet GM. The next day when we were rushing to excursion some lady approached me at the street, saying she wants to talk about my room. I explained we are busy now, she didn't care. It appeared to be GM with Housekeeping manager. They started shouting blaming me in insulting their staff. Housekeeping manager was shouting that she checked the room and that it was me who put all this garbage there!! Then came housekeeper who told how exactly i was insulting them. Nothing of that i ever said. However GM said she will believe only her staff not the guest. I offered to check cameras in corridor, since i was talking with an open door. If I would lie why would I offer? Further more the staff from reception who was not involved at this and not present during this situation came to blame and shout at me. I couldn't prove anything to them and i was so shocked and upset, but they continued shouting till I started to cry! And even after that they didn't stop. They ruined my day, I missed my excursion, which was also prepaid. This was the most shocking experience in my life. I have never came across such unprofessional staff, headed by GM who can shout at the guest in the middle of the street and allow the staff who have no idea about situation to shout at the guest like at the fish market!!! Please see the photos attached

Dear Anna, Many thanks for taking the time to leave this review, we appreciate every bit of feedback as it helps us improve our service, We are sorry for the issue you encountered during your stay, As i understand, the issue was solved on time, as you've decided to spend an additional 3 nights with us, When we approached you in the morning I personally apologized for the issue and listened to your concerns. We quickly took care of the issue as soon as it was noticed, which was undeniably our fault and easily taken care of on the evening of your arrival, however, the comments that were made personally towards our staff members that had interacted with you and tried to sincerely take your issue to heart were unacceptable and extremely uncalled for, I would never even think of mentioning the phrases you had said. We respect all of our guests, and try our best to offer them pleasant, leisurely experiences in our hotel. We have not raised our voice towards you or our guests and will never do such a thing, as it is insulting. We only ask that we receive a minimum amount of respect back, which, unfortunately, some of our staff did not feel. As the general manager my responsibility is to offer our guests comfort and leisure, but I also have the responsibility of providing my colleagues a respectable work environment. Issues like these are not commonplace at our hotel – as a hotelier yourself (as you claimed) you should understand that mistakes happen, but are swiftly dealt with when need be. Remarks that were given to our staff were not necessary in helping resolve your issue. Best regards, Nino General Manager

Stayed in room 316 and the pounding from the apartment above was all night long as if there was a basketball camp being held above me. Management must have known this yet still rent the room and can not be trusted. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location but they are just in it for the money. There are only three floors in the hotel and apartments above that, but they must have known that the people above run all night and sold me a room that was useless for sleep. Additionally the front desk ask if we need anything and we said yes two bowls and spoons yet they never came. I would suggest you don't trust these people with your wellbeing.

We came with some big expectation from this hotel due to being the most expensive in its category of 4* . Must admit we had an excellent experience due to the very attentive staff that listened and solved quickly all small problems that occurred . To mention only some of them Maryam and Anna but all other were polite and ready to help always ! A great bravo to the general manager that succeeded in putting together such a great staff . We also appreciated the wonderful location the cleanness everywhere . Of course we will back on our next trip to Georgia !

Great hotel. We had a suite which was a proper suite, a bedroom a sitting room and shower room. Each area very spacious. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of storage. Staff are brilliant throughout. Nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant bar area cosy and welcoming. Great breakfast. Lovely terrace area. Indoor pool is a bonus really warm. Very small but functional fitness room Excellent transport to and from the hotel organised by them. Amazing day trip out with excellent driver. Saw some wonderful sights and learned a lot about Georgia Location great for old town and sightseeing Just be aware the room we had, 208, was close to the road and noise could be a little troublesome for some people . Recommend highly and would go back
