So clean, service second to none. It was a warm feel and extremely giving and present to my needs. Very helpful also in gathering details so I could plan my trip further. Staying here is like staying at your best friend’s house. Made friends with others at the hotel as well, and all of us were treated to a new year’s eve dinner with the staff.
This hotel is located in a quiet part of Yangon. The rooms are very clean and spacy with all comfort that you can think. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, typical for Myanmar. The breakfast is nice. The staff helps you with advice on where and when to go, ordering taxis, booking flights and arrange trips. You will feel at home in this hotel.
Mainly due to good TripAdvisor reviews, we booked here for our first 3 nights in Yangon. Short of paying top dollar in a 5-star hotel, you will not get better service anywhere. The team are unfailingly friendly, helpful, cheerful, smiling, nothing is too much trouble. The room is fairly basic but very clean with everything you need, your own bathroom with a good shower (albeit not at a good height for Europeans 😀). Comfortable bed, nice breakfast of fruit, eggs, toast, jam, tea coffee etc and some local snacks which are interesting. The value for the price is very good, but the service is what makes it - we had to leave early on our last day and they made us a nice breakfast to go. Boiled eggs, lovely sandwiches, fruit and water. The location is OK, it’s between the airport and the city and fairly quiet. We took the Circular Train from Parami Station (10 mins walk) for 200 kyat each into town, a real experience. It’s about 3,000 kyat in a Grab to Shwedagon Pagoda, or 2,200 to Myanmar Plaza for good shopping and food. Pro tip: try the fried crispy duck salad at Sun Restaurant a minute’s walk from the hotel - delicious!…
For the price (I paid 21 USD) you cannot do much better in Yangon. The location is not superb if you are spending a lot of time downtown, but if you need to be in this general area it is a great option. The staff were incredibly helpful, even booking Grab cars at a discount rate for me. The only downside...the bed was a bit hard. Pretty normal to be honest though.
After two nights in the hotel, I will definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a hotel on the outskirts of Yangon. The room was nice and clean. While some noise could be heard from the street, it was very quiet after 21:00 (room number 24 on the first floor). Good bed, hot water, average wifi, nice breakfast. From the hotel it takes only a few minutes to reach the main road by foot, once there a taxi can be hailed within seconds.
