I stayed here just one night, but would stay again. The guy at reception was v helpful, and provided a really useful map! The room was clean and there was plenty of hot water..location is terrific so the fact that you dont get breakfast provided isn't a problem..and they were great for recommending places to eat and to see.

My room was simple, but that's all I needed since all I did was sleep there. Hot water, AC, fan and quite clean. Staff was very accommodating, and I could walk to everything I wanted to see. Night market started just a couple blocks away, and train station was walking distance.

Quite a scratchy affair. It was surprising to find the floor covering (in Room 201) was artificial grass. I left my nine iron at home. The only room available and on my first night in Yangon... I said yes! (USD$20-) Mosquitoes coming out of the drain in the bathroom... which was a 'cold water only' affair. A foam single mattress.... More

Just checked in here. Had heard good things of this place from guidebooks but gravely disappointed. Tried to reserve by email, which was never answered. Then reserved in person for three nights. Arrived back today to discover that they have lost my reservation apart from the first night, which I already paid. I pointed out that I had booked for... More

We were 30 minutes late getting out of our room. Check out is at noon. The guy at the front desk told us that we would have to pay a late check out charge of the half day's rate. We complained that that was too much and we were only 30 minutes late. The guy would not budge, we tried... More

We found this hostel to be clean with helpful staff. The location is central yet it is on a quiet street. For $30 / night (no breakfast) for a double room it is very good for Yangon. It is not a place to chill out at, but it offers a clean bed to sleep in after sightseeing in Yangon.

I stayed at May Fair Inn for one week at the end of Nov 2013. It was my first time to visit Yangon and my friend recommend this inn to me. The hotel located just at the center of Yangon but in a small street that keep you away from the crowd. I got a room on the second floor... More

Stayed there on the 12th of May. Paid $15 for a single room ($24 for a double) on the first floor with attached bathroom and aircon. Not a bad price at all but it is of course during off peak season, so the price is most likely lowered. The room and bathroom are clean, comes with hot water. No breakfast... More

There are much cheaper comparable places in Yangon, don't settle for this. We called in advance and were told we could have an AC room, that the rate included breakfast, and that there was wifi, none of which was true. The hotel was undergoing renovations, which is understandable, except that we were kicked out of room by 10:30am. After learning... More

A cheap and correct place to stay. Single at 15 USD double at 24 USD. Clean, but basic services, no freezer, no TV, no laundry. Managers on duty in the evening is really more sympathetic that the one on morning, really business orientated. Good location - 5 mn from Junior Duck's restaurant.
