Since this was our first guesthouse in Myanmar we expected literally nothing and were happy that everything was very clean. The room was quite spacious, the bed comfy, the breakfast okay and the staff very helpful and friendly. The best thing about it: they offer an airport shuttle service for free. I just found it a bit pricey for what...

I stayed in both the dorms and twin rooms, the facilities for the rooms are really good, a lot better than for the dorms, a little strange that the dorm toilet was right by the passage way and the sinks were in the passage way. Dorm was okay value for Yangon at $10USD and had really good under bed storage....

I stayed here on my first night. They picked me up from the station and was very comfortable, so I think a good choice for the first night. It's a little walk from the centre and shwedagon, but I enjoyed that. Nice place.

A very welcoming place. Perfect location which is just around the corner from hustle and bustle of city. Cheap to taxi anywhere. Not far to walk. Staff super helpful with any questions. Definitely recommend

Quite enough, clean enough, very very kind the staff all. I appreciate the breakfast, the continental one was simple but good. I've got a very bad impression of yangoon and of the poverty spread everywhere. Be aware, after 5pm it would take tillo 2 hours to get to the Airport and a little less than 3 to get to bus...

Definitely very happy with our stay. We spend both first and last night of our trip in this hostel, clean, comfortable and one of the cheapest options in Yangoon. I would say the perfect choice for backpackers! But I have to say, that the best of it all is the staff. Personally, the last two days of my trip i...

Mother Land Inn 2 was the friendliest hostel I stayed in in Burma, lovely staff especially the wonderful ChanChan! The rooms are basic but clean, comfy beds, warm showers and great breakfast buffet. They were endlessly helpful from a local dentist to scoring cheap cabs taxis. I would definitely recommend.

Motherland 2 is definitely not in the luxury bracket, but it doesn't pretend to be, it is a good base if you are looking for something for a short stay in Yangon. The girls who work in the reception area are extremely helpful and friendly, they let us check in early, and out late - a huge bonus when travelling...

First off, the staff here is super friendly. And it seemed to be one of the more affordable options in Yangon. However, it just wasn't our vibe. It was clean enough and the beds pretty comfy. However the pillows were by far the worst we had come across. We tried to change them out but it seemed to be the...
