Soon after booking the hotel I received a personalized email confirmation from a hotel manager offering shuttle service. It was the first of many personal touches from the management that extended throughout my 4-night stay. Both Hamid and Pierre went out of their way to ensure that my stay was successful. In fact their level of concern and assistance exceeded anything I've experienced in many years of travel. The hotel itself is elegant, but not ostentatious. The pool is great, the gym (with full-time trainer) exceptional, the rooms very comfortable. A great value for the money.

Excellent 4-star hotel in downtown Brazzaville. Our twin executive rooms on the 5th floor were quite comfortable and clean. Quite extensive TV channels choice, powerful and ubiquitous Wifi connection. No power outages throughout our 8 night stay. Smiling, quick and friendly service. The hotel restaurant was very good, providing large servings at average prices. We did not try the swimming pool at the first floor terrace, but other guests did - it looked well kept and the water was pretty clean. All in all, a very pleasant and relaxing stay, we felt safe and at the center of the town. Definitely our first choice hotel whenever we will be back in Brazza.

I stayed in Mikhael’s from October - December 2020 as part of a business trip, and can’t recommend it enough. My room was super clean and had a great balcony view, the staff are great and friendly, and the food at the hotel is amazing. I highly recommend Mikhael’s to anyone staying in Brazzaville.

We couldn't have imagined a better stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had every amenity needed. The hotel staff lavished us with attention, recommendations and support. The free shuttle to the airport was much appreciated. We would recommend Mikhael's Hotel without any reservation.

This Boutique hotel is in the heart of the city. From our room we had a beautiful view of Brazzaville. The staff was friendly, very helpful and always at your service. The breakfast is amazing , the food in this hotel is always very tasty ! The rooms are spacious, very clean and well decorated. The band by the pool at night gives this place a vibrant life ! The art in this hotel is to die for ! Thank you for making our stay in Congo a fantastic one. I highly recommend this hotel !

Very good Hotel.. The workers are very sympathetic. The food was good, very nice rooms! Wonderful breakfast, as a fan of soccer I watched all the games in my room. If you want to change money they do it for you in the hotel with a very nice rate. I will never forget the experience I have lived in this hotell. Mikhaels will be always in my memory !

I was visiting Brazzaville for a conference and my partner accompanied me. We did not know what to expect from Brazzaville but loved it and staying at Mikhael's hotel significantly added to the enjoyment of the trip.
Good Points **************
1. The service from the Manager, Antoine, was fantastic. He did everything to help and assist with any query and was always available. He gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and 'day trip' suggestions / advice. He is an exceptional host. It is unusual these days to meet a hotel member of staff that really goes out of his / her way to make a guest stay as smooth and memorable as possible. Antoine did this. This level of personal service is not found in the bigger hotels.
2. The location is very good near the centre and the river is a few blocks away.
3.The hotel is exceptionally clean
4.The beds are great and gave very good sleep quality
5. Air conditioning perfect temperature and quiet
6. the Lebanese food in the pool area was wonderful but portions massive.
7. All staff friendly and always willing to help
8. Nice pool area to relax around after the heat of the day.
Not so good points **********************
1. The hotel is expensive but then all hotels in Brazzaville are expensive
2. The room cleaners did an excellent job (and always smiling) but they must remember to leave two towels when their are two guests and also to keep the shower gel and shampoo topped up. Apart from that they kept the room and beds spotless.
3. Breakfast
This was adequate but could be more interesting / varied. The omelettes very good as well as the fresh fruit.
4. Activities
As a suggestion the hotel should have details on various day trips and tours guests can take. Most people do have at least one day free. A similar list should be available for restaurant recomendations. The restaurant Maman Ro is highly recommended for a local flavour and delicious food.

I was initially sceptical when my company booked me in Mikhael's hotel, seeing that I had done my own research and didn't find any reviews on it. So on my first visit to Brazzaville I opted for another hotel and I honestly was lucky enough they insisted I stay at Mikhael's the second time round. My choice was terrible, the sheets were dirty and I got ill after ordering room service. Mikhael's hotel really deserves a five star for local standards and a 4 star ranking by european standards. it is a small luxury hotel that is perfect for business meetings, it is aesthetically pleasing with beautiful art pieces that inspired me to buy a few paintings myself. The staff is warm and helpful, the menu might not be gourmet but the food is super clean and you can be sure not to get ill. they have a lovely pool and are just 7 min away from the airport. Definitely going back!

I lived in the hotel for 5 month and let me tell you that there is no other place like this in Brazzaville. They have different matrasses at you disposal depending on how hard you want it. The service is good comparing to Brazzaville standards and they always meet your needs at all times. Staying that long they were open to cook me anything I wanted that wasn’t in the menu at reasonable price (again compare to brazza standards). The buffet everyday at lunchtime is very good and diversified. The rooms are big and shower pressure is very good. Internet on the other hand did not reach my needs. To summarized I highly recommend the hotel for both business trip and long stay. Great location and great management.

Wonderful staff at the reception, really welcoming and friendly and very helpful as well. Only had breakfast at the hotel so cannot give a review on their restaurant. Breakfast was perfect with eggs to order. You have to remember you are in the Congo, the electricity went off a couple of times and also the hot water, but this is normal they said. The AC worked and boy was that a relief from the humid and hot weather in Brazzaville. This is the most expensive city in this part of Africa, they import everything so the food and lodging is very expensive for what you get. Just be prepared to spend at least 40 percent more than normal on food and lodging.
