Located in the so called safe zone of Kinshasa, close to the river and where the embassies and NGOs have their offices. The rooms are in poor condition, probably weren't renovated in the past 30 years. Rooms overlooking at the street are very noisy. Wifi works well. Since the hotel shares the restaurant, gym and pool facilities with the brand...

The hotel is older and in need of renovation. The various conflicts and time has taken its toll. Its reasonably safe and the staff is vey nice. If you sit out by the pool you will need bug spray. Its a mid level hotel and not luxury, but its clean by DRC standards.

People told me the Accor Group has plans to renovate this hotel, adjacent to the very nice Pullman hotel. Before those renovations will take place, don't expect any comfort. 😉 Staff is very friendly overall. The hotel is very safe and gives guests the opportunity to use the facilities of the Pullman (e.g. bars, pool, breakfast area) Cheap option if...

The best feature of this hotel is that it's shared with it's richer younger brother, the Pullman Hotel. The Grand Hotel is the older brother who may have been attractive in younger days but is now overweight and unattractive. There's usually only one person on the front desk. Sandra was quite helpful, but clearly over-worked. Checking in or out or...

I was not expecting much, but from check-in which was reasonably efficient, the room which was good and a great pool area to unwind and have a drink after a day of work was all good. What did need improvement was the breakfast selection.

Situated a 2 hours taxi drive through the city - from the airport to the hotel - I ended with begging the taxi driver for a receipt. Entering the hotel, I was helped by a friendly reception. Be aware, all prices are to be paid in USD. Finally arrived in my room, spacey and outmoded. It needs renovations but all...

Fairly good hotel although a bit overprized. Nice pizzas in the pool restaurant. Pretty good gym. Nice and clean rooms. Service ok. Residing in the embassies area so the area feels safe. Only two english channels on the TV (CNN and BBC) so bring a book. 😊

A few years ago I stayed over at the Hotel en route to Matadi. Apparently no all rooms were good. But the room I had was good. At the time I was also instructed not to leave the Hotel grounds alone. But the stay was good.

Even though this is one of Kinshasa's hot spots, hotel rooms and their equipment is old, outdated and rather neglected. The nice things about the hotel are the breakfast choices, the gym and the pool area.
