Siosaia and Mary, your hosts at Olini Lodge, are a local couple whose house is a fantastic place to stay while on Tongatapu. It's only a couple kilometers from the center of Nuku'alofa, and they are very generous with offering rides into town if needed, though you may not want to leave the comfy porch with its lovely view! Going...

We booked Olini lodge for our one day transit in Tongatapu and we could not have picked a better place. From the second we were picked up at the airport, we felt like part of the family .. Olini showed us around and took us to an amazing lunch spot (best fish lunch ever!) and Saia took us in the...

This is the second time I've stayed at Olini lodge and again left with warm feelings of happiness in my belly. To be honest, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Nuka'alofa! It really is the best. It's the perfect place to stay as a stopover, or a longer time to explore the island. Saia, Mary and Olini will go...

Saia and his wife were so friendly, funny, generous and welcoming. We were only there for one night but I would absolutely stay there again. You are made to feel like part of the family. Rooms very clean and comfortable.

Felt right at home. They are very accommodating and lovely family. Felt very safe and secure at night. Saia assisted me when I initially stayed in Tonga. Now it's my second home. I wouldn't stay any place else.

If you're looking for a genuine experience, this is the place! I only had one night but it was one of the most memorable I've had on holiday. Instead of just picking me up from the airport at 8.30pm, I was taken on my own personal tour of the town, where we stopped to watch the Miss Tonga competition and...

During our Tonga trip we stayed 3 nights at Olinis Lodge. The whole family was incredibly friendly and helped us to organise our further Trip. The rooms are pretty and clean. And the breakfast was Amazing. In the evening we watched with our friend Olini ( daughter of the owner) a nice movie. They easily organise you an airport and...

I stayed here with my Nana. It was her first time at a pacific island and it was real Tongan experience right from leaving the airport. We got picked up at the airport by a nice, interesting man and his beautiful young granddaughter. Before arriving at the lodge we got taken to 2 of their "secret places" which was beautiful...

Very clean, amenities of a shower/bathroom/kitchen to share with other travelers are available. For fees, hosts have the services to wash your laundry, pick up and drop off from airport, day tours of the island available or a car rental to tour yourself. The owner Jay and his wife live close by and his adult daughter/son-in-law/granddaughter live downstairs separately. They're...

The couple that is running this place is extremely friendly and supportive. Most Tongans are friendly but the feeling here was rather staying with friends than at a B&B. In the morning breakfast is spent by sitting together at a big round table with a revolving wheel with all the food in the middle. There is plenty to choose from...
