This hotel really is one of the best on the island. For starters the staff goes above and beyond. They were so friendly, and helpful accommodating us in the hotel, and coordinating activities in our free time. They have tons of local knowledge of the island and great suggestions for day trips. The Canoe House is the attached Bar/Restaurant and it has consistent good food. Always piping hot out of the kitchen. I recommend the fish sandwich and the pizza! Live music is featured several nights a week, and a really fun vibe at the bar for night life! The pool area in the back has stunning views, great lounging areas and a nice refreshing pool. My airplane was broken down in Palau and we were fortunate enough to find this gem. Huge thanks to the staff at The Palau Central Hotel

We loved our stay at the Palau Central Hotel. The breakfast was delicious each morning with lots of variety. We had paid for a room with a view, but when we were originally placed in a non-view room that was, nevertheless, facing the back of the hotel, we requested a change. This error was quickly amended without question or hassle. Everyone was so very easy to work with and willing to please including making our dinner reservations at local restaurants and requesting transportation for us. The room was kept spotless and everything worked perfectly. The rooms were so quiet, the bed very comfortable, and lots of hot water! We ate dinner several nights on our balcony watching the sunset. The market was within easy walking distance. Even the wifi was fast. I can't think of a thing they could improve on. If we make it back to Palau we will definitely stay here again.

Checked out of Sea Passion to Palau Central (and i met another couple who checked out of Palau Pacific Resort to stay here). Rooms are spacious, stylish -- mine had a clawfoot bathtub and view of the Rock Islands -- and in any other city the rooms would cost 2x as much. Palau Central -- don't change a thing!

When I was looking at booking for palau last year I was torn between beach resorts with ocean view and this place ( nicest hotel in Koror ) I read a few older reviews that people talked about this central location near almost all the restaurants and shops . I was so glad ( as a diver ) that I chose this place mainly because if you are doing a three tank dive you won’t get back to shore until about 4:00-4:30 , by the time you get cleaned up and gear set up for next day it is almost dark , so no view . This is the nicest hotel in town , super clean with free shuttle to local places , some of the restaurants have free shuttles and will pick you up at your hotel and the drop you off .if the restaurant does not have a shuttle the hotel driver will take you places and pick you up ( saves on the few taxis ) . The free breakfast is better then most free breakfast places .they always have rice , potatoes , fruits , breads and toasters , salad and either pancakes , waffles or French toast. You can also order eggs as you like , oatmeal . The coffee is brewing in the lobby day and night , bottled water . From the lobby you can walk into the canoe restaurant, great burgers and pizza , they have other dishes but those are the only two things we ordered from the canoe restaurant. The lobby sells sodas and snacks like chips , ramen noodles etc . They have a laundry service at $1 per item , my last full day here I left all my clothes before the dive shop picked me up . I came home to find all my clean laundry in my room for only $10 . The best little thing they did was give us , not sell us a late check out we told them we were not leaving until 7:30 pm and they said no problem we will clean it after you leave . When have you ever seen a hotel not charge you or only give you an extra hour or two . This is a perfect and very safe boutique hotel . Pay the extra and get a room facing rock island , I hear the front rooms are not as quiet . The rock island view rooms have view of pool with ren for water fall and rock island.
