We arrived here two weeks after their water rationing were lifted, so pool was still drained (filled the day before we left). So we were happy to not have specific hours to flush toilets and take showers. Staff was very helpful in providing information around town, even to other restaurants. I will say that their restaurant was better than you... More

Just spent 11 nights at the Palasia - my third visit for diving. Love staying here as the staff are so helpful, it's right in town which makes it easy to walk everywhere and go to the supermarket and restaurants etc. I travel alone, and feel very safe here. Rooms are clean and have air conditioning. Happy to answer any... More

In a nutshell, would be almost a 5 star, except there was NO WATER in the room most of the day. You might say, is that the hotels fault? Yes and no: but on a limited water island, where you are running a luxury hotel, you should have made arrangements for water in a low water availability year: I mean... More

My husband and I booked a 5-day dive vacation with Sam's Tours and stayed here. That said, we spent most of the day out on the water and not in our hotel room. Palau is currently experiencing a record drought so there is water rationing at all facilities. Water was available at the hotel from 0600-0800 and 1700-2100 each day.... More

Very friendly staff created us at the airport, courteous at check-in & through-out our stay. Beautiful room with an ocean view, very quite and nice place to rest. Convenient location to city & restaurants all walking distance. Very nice, clean room, lanai overlooking ocean & a fun 'remote' that controlled lights, music, etc. The hotel provided breakfast which was a... More

Rooms (and breakfast room) needs desperately renovation. Old carpets on the floor, they don't even use hoovers when cleaning rooms... Smell of mold in the room made me feel sick. Breakfast was average. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Location is fine. Wi-fi was really really slow in the lobby area, most of the time didn't work at all.

First off, I should say this hotel was absolutely fine for what I needed it for - a place to sleep after a days diving. The room was reasonable: the bed OK, bathroom a little tired, the sea view OK. One night I had condensation from the AC dripping continuously. When reported the next morning this was fixed by the... More

The United flight from Manila arrives after 2am at Palau's small airport. From there it takes about 20 minutes by car to get to Kotor, the islands only town. I read that there are no taxis at the airport at that time, so one better organizes a transport through the accomodation. All hotels charge 20 USD for this transfer. When... More

The location is good. It's within walking distance to Tori Tori Restaurant, where we ate most of our meals while staying there. Rooms are decent, but I expected something a bit better at this price. As for F&B, the breakfast buffet is alright. This is one of the largest hotels in Koror, so expect large tour groups to gather in... More

Desomel is the premier restaurant at Palasia. We had tofu and veggies with a side of broccoli. The restaurant is typical of a Hotel. The staff was OK. The food looked sort of blah and tasted blah as well. We came in about 30 min before closing for lunch and maybe they were just tired? The views are OK over... More
