From the front desk, the concierge, to the wait staff, everyone you encounter here greets you with a smile and is eager to help in any way. The beach and pool area is beautiful and the spa service is excellent. The restaurant and bar both have good food and the breakfast buffet is great. It is within walking distance to several really good restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is very nice with lovely rooms and all the amenities you expect. The swimming pool and beach are lovely and well-maintained. There is also a games room and a spa and a small gym. The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. The main disappointment is the restaurant which is ok but not really the same standard as the rest of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was ok with plenty of choice, more to Asian preferences than western I would say - the bread selection wasn't good. It shut on the dot of 10am too. The dinner buffet was standard fare and the bbq option was disappointing as the meat was already barbecued and getting cold and tough. The restaurant also lacked atmosphere, not a place to enjoy your meal and take time over things.Dear lockettorres Thank you for staying with us in Palau Royal Resort. The ambiance, view, and services were first class. There was so much to do and to explore. Five days were not enough, even though we stayed busy from sunrise to breathtaking sunset each day. Aside from a very mediocre dinner menu, the breakfast and lunch menus were very tasty and they had a nice selection to choose from the buffet. Rooms were spacious and very clean, and the management was courteous and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Palau Royal Resort, based solely on the staff and their services, but the combination of everything else makes this a must stay. My family is already thinking about a return trip in the next year or two. Until then, my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people of Palau for a vacation of a lifetime!

The Palau Royal Resort provided the rooming block for the Pacific Judicial Council's 2022 American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) training in Koror from November 9 - 11, 2022. The Pacific Judicial Council (PJC) comprises the Chief Judges of American Samoa, Guam, Micronesia, the Northern Marianas Islands, and Palau. It assists in developing and delivering continuing judicial education and court professional training for its member courts. The participants in the 2022 ACTL training included Chief Justices, Justice, Judges, and attorneys. Ms. Diana Bhuyian was our POC and provided excellent customer service from the start of negotiations until the last guest left departed. She understood the group's needs due to her experience providing top-notch hospitality services to high-level clients. Ms. Bhuyian and her staff went over and above what was expected to ensure the needs of our group were met. The friendly front desk staff responded quickly to requests. The Food and Banquet staff executed a wonderful dinner at the Breeze Bar. The level of hospitality experienced was exceptional. PJC hopes to hold future events in Palau and have the opportunity to work the Ms. Bhuyian and the staff of the Palau Royal Resort again.…

We visited several of the nicer hotels on the Island and made the right choice by choosing the Palau Royal Resort! The rooms are by far the best, with a large living area and kitchen. Very clean and well-maintained. Beautiful view and many amenities. As good as the room and location were the staff was even better! Everyone was eager to please and took good care of us!

This was a great hotel in Palau. Rooms are clean and resort is well maintained. It is one of the oldest resort but it looks like new and better then all the other resorts we visited. It is also near the boat docks so if you are going on a tour, it is an easy 2 minute walk to your boat. The only thing lacking is the buffet bar. It is always short of food and staff keep telling us there is no more.

The tempura is very nice Fresh Sashimi The Sushi rice have rooms to improve Good price that only 22USD it will be a nice choose if you stay in hotel suggest that if Japanese buffet the back ground music can choose Japanese song too

The hotel is top notch. The staff is gracious and extremely helpful. It has a small private beach but it is not what would be considered ocean front. It is still lovely with the beautiful green hill backdrop. The location is convenient to dive shops and downtown Korror. The spa was not open as the county had not fully returned to pre Covid tourism. However, I saw the c reduced numbers as a plus.
