Stayed in PRR quite sometime ago in the Ocean view room on higher floor. There is not much choice of hotel in Koror, and PRR is one of the best choices available. Room is average, has a nice unobstructed view of the beach Cleanliness is good. Breakfast is okay. Staff are friendly. Very close to the dive center (Sams tours)...

I have been to Palau 6 times and this was my first stay at PRR. I usually stay at the Palau Pacific, but decided to cut costs this trip. Besides being less expensive, it is more centrally located which is better for exploring Koror. We stayed there before getting on the Palau Aggressor and it was a perfect location for...

I stayed there a week during my diving trip. I made a mistake as it was quiet pricey for the amount of time I spent there...However facilities and location are perfect for a relaxing holidays for couples or friends. Staff was friendly and accommodating. If I come back to Palau with my family I would probably go back there, but...

My husband did extensive reviews of our two choices of hotel (Palau Pacific vs Palau Royal), and consulted with the dive company about our dilemma as well. Ultimately, we decided on the Palau Royal for its central location. (we had heard that the Palau Pacific is more remote) We initially booked ourselves into the non-renovated rooms to help keep costs...

This is our second time staying at PRR after a dive trip, and, with the addition of The Cove as an alternative hotel, it will be our last. As others have mentioned, this hotel caters to mainly Asian vacationers, and it's very apparent. Service in the bar area inside the hotel was slow to non-existent, despite the fact that we...

We stayed here for 2 days prior to boarding a dive live-aboard and I'm so grateful we did. Generally, things are as they are pictures on their website. It feels newish and everything is kept quite clean. The rooms are beautifully designed. The deep tubs are a nice touch. Beds are comfortable. Balcony overlooking the ocean was lovely. They even...

Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Rooms clean, very quiet with comfortable beds. Grounds meticulously maintained with pond well stocked with tropical fish. On the down side, you should be able to drink the tap water and have free, reliable wifi at the resort for $300 plus a night.

As a diver I went to visit Palau. I stayed in the Palau royal resort. The hotel was good but not great. Hotels is a kind of a problem in Palau. The room and the friendliness are very good. The price unfortunately way to high. The wifi is a big problem in Palau and in the hotel you only have...

Having traveled through the Pacific for my blog, world-adventurer.com, I get to stay at plenty of resorts and Palau Royal Resort really has a unique offering. Here's what I enjoyed about the stay. - Beach and pool were definitely the highlight. You can lounge around and enjoy the pool, but unfortunately the kayaking needs to be within a roped in...

Pros: Most of the hotels in the eastern pacific are lucky to be hostel level, this is a legitimately nice room. Good dive shop on premise Big breakfast buffet (but very Japanese. Would get old after more than 2-3 days). Grocery Story and nice dock restaurant nearby. Good AC and bathtub. Nice and quiet Nice lagoon for snorkeling (plenty of...
