    The best of Palau!
This resort is truly the best place to stay when visiting Palau, especially if you’re diving. Whatever dive company you choose, they will pick you up and drop you off at the dock at the resort. The meals (mostly buffets) are pricey for Palau but the staff goes out of their way to make everything very special. There are two main restaurants at the resort, a more casual restaurant offering buffet breakfast and dinner and a fine dining dinner restaurant. We loved our stay at PPR and can’t wait to be back.
Dear Valued Customer Thank you for choosing Palau Pacific Resort, and for taking the time to write a review! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your accommodations, dining, as well as the services we offered. Our resort aims to provide a truly unique experience, and we are thrilled that we were able to meet your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back to our Resort in the future. Best luxury hotel in Palau, but not for international standards
We had a nice stay, and it is probably the best you get in Palau. But for our family room we paid 600+€ / night, which gets you much better hotels pretty much anywhere else. But if you consider where you are and that you can enjoy quite a good level of luxury in a very remote place very close to the nature it is still a good deal. The service experience for us was very mixed, from super attentive to almost rude. Hotel is run by Japanese which is also reflected by the guest, as Europeans we almost felt a bit discriminated. When we arrived with our three kids in a rental car, we were asked to move the car instead of helping us with the luggage and the kids. Only after clarifying that we are guest, we were allowed to unload. After having quite some issues with the safety of our room (balcony railing was broken, bad with a crawling baby), we were barely able to bring this to the attention of the responsible. Informing via phone did not work, we then mentioned it twice at the reception, did not work either, so we ended up not having it repaired through the entire stay. But then again, location is nice, food is quite good, pool is sufficient, the hot tub is a nice plus and the private beach is very beautiful with a reef right in front of it. So all in all, if you want to burn a few bucks and try to find some luxury in Palau I recommend it, but lower your expectations before arriving.

    Stunningly Beautiful Resort
My husband and I along with our adult daughter recently returned from a trip to Palau. My husband and I stayed in The Pristine Villas and Bungalows and our daughter stayed at the Palau Pacific Resort. The Pristine Villas is basically their version of concierge level villa very close to the main resort area, yet quiet and secluded. In our opinion, the Villa did not offer enough space or privacy for our 26 year old daughter, so we got her her own room. Our villa was stunning and rivals that of the finest Caribbean Resorts. We have stayed at Little Dix Bay, Jumby Bay, Parrot Cay and other high end resorts and the Pristine Villas will not disappoint. We had our own pool and could literally snorkel right from our villa. The entire resort was completely stunning with impeccable service. We went to Palau to dive and our dive company picked us up at the hotel dock with ease. What made our trip so special were the people of Palau and all of the lovely workers at the resort. The restaurants, bars, pools, were all excellent with wonderfully warm and thoughtful service. When we were not diving, we were doing world-class snorkeling right in front of the hotel. We opted to dive 2 full days off property and stayed at the property two days to enjoy the resort and the amenities. I honestly cannot say one negative thing about either of the properties. Was it expensive? Yes! However, how many times do you get to visit a place this beautiful? If you can swing it and you enjoy quiet privacy, opt for a Villa in the private area. Our daughter was very happy with her room in the main part of the hotel. I don't understand people complaining about the food. We loved it and to be honest, you are in Palau for the diving, snorkeling and natural beauty. We had fish and/or sushi every night and it was fantastic not to mention killer cocktails at the beach bar. I hope to return someday and the diving was literally the best experience of our lives! Thank you Palau Pacific Resort for a magical holiday.

Exclusive hotel, own private beach, amazing snorling. Peaceful and beautiful. The Spa is a must visit, a good selection of Balinese message, performed in the most beautiful.setting. The beach bar a good place for a snack or a beer and watch the sunset on the coconut terrace.

The staff and service have been fantastic here! From Snow who greeted us at 430 in the morning knowing we just needed to get to bed to Kelly and the staff in the restaurant at breakfast. All very friendly and accommodating! Rooms are not big but comfortable and clean. Our only suggestion would be to improve the lunch and supper menu- and food quality. After one night we headed out to eat following recommendations from trio advisor that were right on.

We statyed in an overwater bungalow and it was just perfect. Glass floor in the seating area for watching the fish swim by. Lovely deck and stairs to the water, complete with a fresh water shower for after swimming. The food, the staff, the beautiful grounds...hated to leave!

My husband and I recently completed a fantastic 10 night stay at PPR. Despite staffing shortages due to Covid, the hotel was able to provide impeccable facilities and very warm hospitality. From start to finish, it was a class act. The room was extremely spacious with, rather than a king bed, essentially two double beds combined and ample room to move around the giant bed. And the bathroom has a tub as well as a high-quality Japanese bidet which was a real bonus. From our garden view room, we were treated to amazing bird life and very beautiful tropical foliage. There is a boat dock there, so our snorkeling and kayaking companies were, on some days, able to just pick us up or drop us off right at the hotel! That is a true luxury, as was the entire stay.

I did not end up staying at this property, but want to post this review to make sure people are careful with the booking process. I booked for Christmas 2021 via Expedia. It was clearly stated at time of booking that the bookings were fully refundable if cancelled before a certain date. The confirmations also stated this. However, when I cancelled well in advance of the cancellation date, PPR charged the deposit (that was supposed to be charged months before). When I inquired with PPR reservations, they indicated the room was non-refundable. I showed them the confirmation that clearly said the room was refundable. They did not respond. I then went to Expedia, which told me that the reservation was definitely refundable and that I would definitely get my money back. But a couple of days later, Expedia told me the deposit was with the hotel and the hotel was indicating the room was non-refundable. They told me I'd have to address with PPR. (A side note--never book through Expedia unless you have no choice. They do not stand by their customers and add an extra layer of bureaucracy. I think there are many people waiting for refunds from Expedia.). I reached out again to PPR with no response. I then went the nuclear option, disputing with the credit card company (which was completely useless and gave me an excuse to cancel this AA Platinum Mastercard after 20 years of grinning and bearing it), contacted the Palau tourist association in both Palau and my home country, started posting reviews warning people on all possible sites, and tracking down the name and email of a manager through a crafty Google search. It wasn't until I was able to reach the assistant manager that I was able to make some progress. To her credit, she was super responsive and was able to determine fairly quickly that there was a communication issue between PPR and Expedia. My sizable deposit of a couple thousand dollars was finally refunded to my card. I have heard great things about Palau and about PPR, and do hope to visit someday. But it was a huge hassle having to spend multiple hours trying to resolve this with PPR employees who were completely non-responsive and dismissive. If not for me finding the assistant manager's contact info online and tracking her down, I don't think I ever would have gotten my money back. Her assistance is why I have given a 3 rating instead of a 1.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Service is absolutely third reich playbook. Had a contact with covid positive person and entire negative group was shipped here to quarantine. No one allowed to leave room and staff instantly treats us like lepers and not an ounce of compassion from a single one. All negative tests mind you. Can’t fathom it could be worse if we were all positive. Not allowed outside in hundreds of acres where we only people. No one should ever visit this hell hole. We are prisoners and told to not act up or they may make us stay locked up longer.

Best private beach in Koror. Great place to enjoy the sunset. For me, the food was not that impressive, but the view was speechless. White sand, open view, super relaxing. A bit distance from everything although.

I stayed here for a few days both before and after a liveaboard dive trip. The beach is beautiful and not very crowded. The scenery is fantastic. The food in the restaurant is very good but not great. The service in the restaurant and throughout the resort is excellent. Wifi works well in the public spaces but is hit or miss inside some of the rooms. On the whole this is a very good place to stay but over priced by international standards.

I was in Koror for 15 days. The island is overestimate really expensive for the services offered. The diving are medium quality if compared with Philippine and very low if compared with Raja Ampat. The illegal fishing destroyed the biological equilibrium, so this island is living on the old famous glory, but actually is a poor expensive place... where personally I will never go back. The only think there I really found awensome was the jellyfish lake. But there is in other places in the world. The liveabord prices are about same in other places of Indonesia or Philippine. Avoid.
