Stayed here in July, just for one night before flying out to the Isle of Pines (our international flight didn't allow us time to travel to domestic airport for the last daily Isle of Pines flight). We got there in the evening and there was very little open, no walkable supermarket or bread shop open. But two restaurants very close , which did open around 7.30 or so. And there is a walkable McDonald's if you're desperate ... the homeless hang out around the car park there. Good bits ... - clean - nice towels - nice bedding (not a fan of pillows) - rooms as per photos - good wifi - excellent, helpful staff - 10 min drive to domestic airport Bad bits ... - just one VERY NOISY. Very little sleep. Could hear EVERY person in the hallway, whether they were wearing flip flops or shoes. Bags being dragged down the stairs (no lift at our side of building), upstairs people having sex, slam of the external door to the smoking area. You name it. We could hear it. We even had an extractor fan on constantly (no control over that) but even that droning on didn't drown the noise. Anyway, we only had one night there ... if you are staying here take earplugs and try to get a room away from anyone else. That was the only downside TBH.

Hello Tiger_Totty, Thanks a lot for taking the time to review in detail our hotel. We are sorry to hear you didn't have a good night sleep because of the noise. Our technical team is fixing all grooms at this moment to avoir door slamming in the future. Don't hesitate to let us know on site if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable. We could have changed your room for example or give you earplugs at least. Thanks again for your comment and we hope to see you again. Take care.

Our plane had to do an emergency landing, and we had to stay overnight. The staff at the hotel had to cope with very tired (hours and hours of standing in line at the airport), Bus load of people. They did a great job handling all of us, and my room was perfect. Clean, a good bed, and a great shower.

Our plane made an emergency landing in New Caledonia ( one my scariest experience since flying) . United Airlines sent a number of us to this hotel, and I was not sure what to expect. However, I was amazed, at the speed with which the Manager and rest of the staff handled the check in of that large number of people, that was impressive. On entering my room, it was delightful with beautiful art on the wall, super clean with all necessary amenities. I am definitely coming back to this hotel and beautiful Caledonia.
