Our stay has been comfortable, the hotel is clean and well managed, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is quite good, and we feel safe. Additionally, I signed up for a message, facial and scrub at the spa with Moon (Mun) and it was fantastic and reasonably priced. I would happily recommend the Raintree Lodge.

We would recommend Raintree Lodge as a nice place to stay. We felt safe and secure there- its a little piece of tropical paradise in a not too safe city. The rooms were spacious and clean with a fan over the bed and an efficient air conditioning unit. Sachets of tea and coffee were provided with a small packet of...

Rooms are quiet, clean and not too small. Big comfy bed and a large shower in bathroom. Lodge Resturant quite good. Staff very helpful. Make use of hotel driver to get around or have a city tour. Would definetly return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Raintree Lodge. Morseby hotels are overpriced and generally not of such a great standard, but this one was a cut above the competition at the same price point. It is not cheap, but offers much better value for money than, for example, Gateway Hotel which costs about the same. Raintree rooms are spacious and...

First the bad news. Don't try the phone numbers on their web site. After calling the two numbers from the web site, unsuccessfully, in order to schedule an appointment for a massage, I just drove there today, to be told that those numbers are not in use. Thank you. There were two people in front of me, so I went...

I was in and out of Port Moresby three times during my recent trip to Papua New Guinea. I stayed in different accommodation each time. I spent two nights at Raintree Lodge at the start of my trip. The owner, Bernadette, and her husband made me feel very welcome showing me around their fabulous tropical garden and chatting to me...

I have stayed here several times. The staff are always helpful and the rooms always clean and comfortable. They have free wifi. Reliable airport pickup. The restaurant is good. Nothing fancy, but good solid fare. Sometimes it takes a little while to get your order, but that is fine-- goes with the relaxed pace. Neighborhood dogs can be rude in...

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night as we moved back into town from previous stay in Loloata Resort. Reasons for choosing this were because of its positive comments on Tripadvisor and reasonable room rate. Once we entered the metal gate of the hotel, it was a totally different atmosphere which we felt very safe and mistaken we were in...

If you like marble and gold taps this isn't the place for you; mind you PNG may not the place for you either! The Raintree Lodge (not to be confused with the not yet opened all concrete Raintree Hotel) is something of an oasis in Moresby. It is secure, it's clean and the courtyard garden is an extravagant tropical garden...
