My wife and I ended up staying here for two weeks. Awesome spot. Lovely traditional house, all timber, four stories. Loads of character. We stayed in three different rooms, our favorite was on the top floor. Cool verandah for chilling out or eating. Massive shared kitchen. Laundry, garden out back with a turtle. There's a big supermarket for groceries ten minutes walk, and the centre of town is also a ten minute walk. There's three restaurants on the street, a beer fridge out the back, and a lovely dog who guards the place during the night. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We left our luggage there during a interior trip. This is a great guesthouse, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience suriname live.

The staff at the pied-a-terre were all friendly and welcoming, transport can be arranged to-from the airport upon request. The rooms are clean and comfortable and if you are on a budget there's space out in the garden area to put up your hammock. A nice spread is provided for breakfast (with good coffee), and a guest fridge where you can get a cold beer or soft drink. The location is great, it's only a short walk to the centre of town, and the main city attractions, it's also not too far from several supermarkets. The wifi connection is good, but they also have a really big collection of books if you fancy taking some time away from social media etc. All in all a great place to stay on a budget, and doesn't cost too much more for a bit of extra comfort.

we stayed for 4 nights in total, 2 either side of a trip to the rainforest. Staff friendly. Looked after our bags whilst we went away for the week. Location was ok, short walk from the centre of town. Overall, does what it says on the tin.

Great for longer stays in Parbo. It's in a residential area about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre. Great outdoor comon spaces with front and back patios, and a covered hammock area. Friendly and helpful staff - speak Dutch, French, English, and Spanish. They have a multi-language book exchange and good wifi. The building is very charming!
