In hindsight we were very disappointed for not taking more time to look for a place perhaps closer to town and maybe with more modern features. Don't get me wrong, I love antiques, but this place feels like a motel from 1972 turned into an old age home, and it smells like it too. The pool looks like it's been empty for a while, most of the breakfast can be eaten through a straw and you can literally make yourself a cup of tea with the shower water. The traffic here is horrendous so to get anywhere close to the action is something that needs months of planning and the neighbourhood looks like a lovely area to raise little children, but it's definitely not a place to hang out or take pictures. There is a lovely little place around the corner where you can do laundry for quite good rates, the hotel offers you entrance to a local gym and the staff are mostly friendly.
