Detailed Reviews
Señora Norma Delgado, I would like you to know how great and PROFESSIONAL is your entire staff. Angela Malagon and Señor William at the front desk were always very kind and extremely helpful with all our needs. Señor Víctor, Señor Mateo and Señora Angie Gómez always made sure our breakfast was hot and very well prepared. When we needed room service they always brought our food quickly and they were always smiling. Señora Janette and Señora Sile always prepared our rooms perfectly and treated all of us with tremendous cariño. Señora Janette and Señora Sile are full of life and happiness. Señor Carlos and Señor Rafael at the front desk were also very, very kind and helpful as were Señor Orlando and Manuel. The staff you have working here is PURO ORO!! Todos son excepciónal. Gracias, gracias, gracias.

It's a nice hotel, with decent rooms and it's good value for money. The check in experience wasn't great, we had arrived very early and they didn't want to allow us to check in early, as they said the hotel was full. However, when I offered to pay more to check in early, a room was found. They should have just suggested an additional fee from the outset which we would have accepted. Breakfast was ok, not a huge choice, but it set us up for the day. The area is close to Chapinero (a 15 minute walk to many restaurants near Parque de la 93). It's a fair way from Candelaria but it's easy to get an uber or taxi. Overall a good place to stay.

As an All member I was looking for a comfortable last night stay in Bogotá before heading home. After a bad experience with the Ibis Museo it had to be this one. No regrets at all, good modern style hotel with excellent service, late checkout until 5 pm. Nice room, good bathroom, perfect bed. Downside is the buffet breakfast with hardly any European options like bread, real yoghurt, muesli, cakes etc. Location is far from the touristic centre, 10km.

+1
The hotel is facing a busy highway on one side and office building on the other side, thus non of the windows open in spite of Bogota's good climate. Not even free coffee or water in the room, all cost extra. We got a mediocre room in even though I am ALL gold member, all TV channels are in Spanish, there was roon service trash on front of the elevator all day long. We were given 2 separate beds while we asked for double bed.

The hotel is very centrally located.
Our room was very small and you could only tilt the window.
The staff was friendly.
The gym serves its purpose.
It was a bit annoying that you sometimes had to wait to be able to drive out of the parking garage. There wasn't always anyone there when you drove in either, so you had to let the lobby know.
All in all, the hotel was fine for a city trip.

I only stayed one night. But sleeping in the hotel is impossible, the hotel looks like jelly, it moves all night. The movement feels exaggerated. I do not recommend it. The anti-seismic system causes the hotel to shake at night and on the upper floors it is even worse.

It a good hotel with a comfortable room and a very good bed. The shower is OK but could be more generous in the volume of water. Breakfast is just OK, there is not so many options in the buffet. Restaurant is open 24 x 7 and for a fast meal is very good, do not expect any sophistication on the plates.
There is a bad part that is the GYM, just one treadmill with very old equipament.

Staff is friendly, I recall during the check in they mentioned it’s common to feel small “shakes” during the day (earthquakes) and the hotel building structure is prepared for that, so not to worry. That info was worthy as indeed every night I felt my bed moving and being aware of what was going on was good. The hotel is good located. There is a convenience store across the street and restaurants nearby. The only problem for me is the lack of light. The room was very very dark.

So I was quite skeptical about this hotel because usually when one finds a hotel for $50 a night, you imagine a 3rd rate, basic, "just gimme a place to crash" kind of establishment. But we were truly surprised at this hotel. For starters, the location is in the more upscale "norte" part of the city, which is part of the commercial and financial hub of Bogotá. There is a Juan Valdéz café literally next door, and a quaint Italian restaurant to the other side. But we actually tried the hotel restaurant, and it ended up being better than any place we ate out in the city. The food is spectacular. We had the "ajaiaco santafereño", a typical dish from the region - a soup of various veggies and potates, where one mixes in cream, avocado and rice for flavor - and it was one of the better items we had during our whole trip. So yes, Atton Bogotá has an excellent cooking staff.
Speaking of staff, I have seldom been at hotels with a more helpful crew. Andrés, the senior receptionist, went out of his way to find viable tourist options for us - from drivers to possible places to visit - the whole nine... Prices were affordable and not once did we feel like we were being taken advantage of. You will be hard pressed to find more kind, affable and helpful staff.
The really interesting thing about Atton Bogotá is that the room seemed small, but upon second look, it had absolutely everything one might need: free wifi, extremely comfortable bed, a separate lavatory, modern and soothing showers, a working desk, closet with plenty of hangers, drawers to stow away clothes, cable TV with a bunch of channels, and the list goes on and on. We realized that other rooms are bigger, but this room was perfectly fine. And the fact that the hotel is only 2 years old is a plus - everything is super modern.
A couple of downsides: internet speed can be slow at times... not sure if this is a hotel thing or a provider issue. Also, most cable channels are in Spanish, which was fine for us since we speak the language. But if you don't, then I wouldn't even bother turning the TV on.
Let me sum it up this way: for the money we spent, this hotel is waaaaaay worth it. Give it a shot; you will not repent.
