I booked it before the flight, for us to have a soft landing at Bogota. Indeed the reciptionists all were generous, they've assisted with adapters for electricity, SIM card for all the trip, transportation cards, taxis etc with endless patience. The rooms were nice, exactly what I've expected for this price worth. The place isn't the actual center, but it's pretty close. Thanks a lot for the assistance and the patience!
I travelled to Colombia alone (single woman) and a Colombian acquaintance told me not to stay in La Candeleria. I booked this place on a whim and loved it. The staff couldn't have been more helpful (and were very patient with my terrible Spanish). The location felt very safe. It was very close to some very good and inexpensive restaurants and a short walk to to super hip neighborhood where there are some really great places to try. An uber to the museums, walking tours, etc, was really cheap. The place is not shiny and new though the bathroom had recently been redone. But it's very clean and had all the amenities. I had a junior suite which was more than I needed but I enjoyed it anyway.
Hotel Vilar America was a great place to relax in a great location. The rooms were very nice and exceptionally clean. The staff was helpful and mostly multilingual. I will definitely stay there again.
This hotel ticks of all the boxes! Good location in Chapinero. Clean and comfortable. Great wifi that is fast and reliable, Great Breakfast, Super friendly staff and also very affordable and good value. For the price paid, just an amazing value. I wouldn't go anywhere else when visiting Bogota.
Nice Apartment in a very good Location. The Personal was very Friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the Food is fresh. You can Rent bycicles in the Hotel. There are Plenty of Restaurants close to the Hotel, the Zone G is also 5 min away Form the Hotel. There are also a couple on Banks close to it
Great choice for heading to Montserrat in the morning.Great bedding for fresh cold air at night with the windows open.Coffee in lobby a plus.I didn't walk too far from the hotel but there's a Starbucks around the corner as well as a small grocery store across the street.
Room I was giving was large and sunny. I wish I had stayed here during the earlier part of my trip because the suite was well equipped. Service was professional and attentive and the breakfast was a nice touch. My favorite location to stay in Bogota.
Amazing hotel. Restaurant is top notch. English-speaking staff. Housekeeping every day. Full breakfast every morning. Free coffee in the lobby. Employees are young, professional, respectful and courteous. Clean rooms. High quality bed and sheets. Very professional and kind staff. Will be staying here in the future. Highly recommend. 5 STARS
The staff, the location, and the amount of room for the cost, all of these are reasons to stay here. If it's warm stay away, there is no AC. That said for $45USD a night I had a kitchen, living room, dining area, balcony with table and chairs, and doubletwin bed (almost a king). The staff was very helpful and made my stay all the more enjoyable. There are good spots nearby to eat in but a 30min cab ride is $6USD so location isn't an issue. Also don't hire your ride from the hotel, Uber is cheaper.
It’s an okay place, but they have tiny rooms, old brown and beige furniture and old towels. Service is okay. The pictures they have up are from the suites, which are in a different building. The street feels unsafe, but the rest of the neighborhood is okay. They do usually have staff waiting outside, so that makes it feel safer.
