The Hotel is an historical palace in the center of Bogotá and it is marvellous inside. It seems to be 300 years ago inside, even if it is with full new furnitures. The position is perfect, exactly in the center of Bogotá, few handreds meters from the main square and from the area of Candelaria. The staff is very friendly...

We stayed at the Santa Lucia for three days before going to Barranquilla and Cartagena. It is ideally situated within walking distance to the Museo del Oro and Museo Botero. Yes, the reviews are correct in that it is not an area you would walk comfortably in the late evening, but during the day and early evening it is rich...

We were delighted to find that this neat little hotel delivered more than we expected. The young, friendly and super-helpful staff couldn't have done more to make our stay safe and comfortable. Facts: Our room was cool, clean, had a safe, had slightly dodgy plumping (but it worked enough to deliver showers etc) although the walls were quite thin and...

We had a long layover enroute to Cartagena and stayed the night. Great location and the boutique hotel has had major renovations but preserved the character of the Spanish influence including a beautiful courtyard. The rooms were clean and reasonably price. The hotel staff were very attentive and available for an early morning (1:30 am) check in. The area is...

We stayed 4 nights and was given a room with a bed against the wall so one person did not have a bed side light or table. This made the room uncomfortable for 2 people. The hotel staff did not speak english and could not understand our attempts on spanish. There was no information in english so we could not...

We stayed for three nights at the junior suite. From the street you do not guess the beauty inside. The rooms are grouped round a nice little patio over two floors. The service was friendly. The breakfast was of a columbian style. Just a few steps away: The Septima, the main street of the Candelaria, filled with life especially on...

The rooms were beautifully restored, the courtyard was nice, the included breakfast was solid, and the service was warm (only in Spanish, fyi). They even found a pair of pants we had left in our room and put it with our luggage that they were storing for us between our checkout and airport departure. The location is very convenient for...

The hotel was okay. Very charming because it was old. Our room was on the main floor so felt like we were in the dark dungeon. I think the rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor are probably nice. No heating and Bogota can get cold! Breakfast was really not special. Staff were helpful. I think next time I will choose...

The hotel is gorgeous. We stayed in the junior suite, and the room is large, beautifully detailed and has a great bathroom. The hotel itself is a picturesque enclave that feels like a little vacation unto itself. The staff's English is limited, but they're cheerful and helpful. We made several requests of them, including arranging a sightseeing tour, and never...

This is beautiful small hotel in a terrific location. However, the most pleasant aspect of our visit was meeting the hotel staff which were all very friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is well designed with a very nice courtyard. We certainly would return.
