We had booked 2 nights here in advance and when our Avianca flight from London was delayed by 20 hours it was Chantelle at SieChita that I was emailing for help in altering our itinerary, booking different taxis etc. She could not have been more patient and more helpful via email, going above and beyond what is expected of a...

I traveled to Bogota alone and stayed two nights here. I will definitely stay here again. This is a place where one can go to rest and pay hostel rates. You will not meet people to party here, but it is close to other hostels and places which made meeting people and easy option for those who would like to....

There were only 3 cosy rooms, so not a party place etc. But rooms are extremely nice and the breakfast was good. Overall I would recommend for a nice quiet stay in a good location. The staff spoke english and spanish and were helpful in there recommendations of the city

This guest house will surprise you with all the painted art within! Each room is decorated by hand with a specific color and a nature theme. The restroom is also nicely furnished as is the computer and breakfast area. Beautiful hanging flower pots made of recycled bottles fill the house and there is even a small well maintained urban garden...

My boyfriend and I stayed here earlier on in the month for 4 nights and will be returning at the end of our trip! We stayed during some renovations (which we were made aware of before arriving and we got our room at a discounted price) but I imagine they'll be done now. We wanted to stay somewhere that wasn't...

My wife and I stayed here in May. The room is very cozy and decorated nicely. Chantelle was great, making us feel at home. The breakfast was very good, and the location is perfect, in the heart of La Candelaria.

We saw quite a few hostels in the Candelaria area (a few very nice but most so so) until we bumped into a girl painting a "campesino" scene on the facade of the building. This was for sure one of the best budget hostels we stayed in Colombia and made our experience in Bogota much brighter. Sara, the host has...

We are glad you ran into Sara while she was painting the mural outside. Most of the artwork in the guesthouse is the result of her hard work and creativity. Glad to hear also that she was a great host!

My boyfriend and myself had a wonderful time staying at the guest house. An extremely quaint, unique and soulful place, SieChita definitely enriched our experience in Bogota. Everything from the colorful and elaborately painted rooms to the home made breakfast table helped make us feel part of the La Candelaria community. The essentials were all provided for and kept clean,...

Cool little place in convenient location in La Candelaria. Stayed in "green" room, the one with the balcony. Very nice. The bed is a matress on a log foundation. Sheets were a little worn, but comfortable. I think the other reviews are a little generous on their rating, Maybe because it is a little funky and has a relaxed atmosphere....
