The staff at this location was attentive and exceptional in the services provided. I was impressed upon arrival by the welcome reception. I was accommodated in a very comfortable room. I have visited over 48 countries around the world and stayed in many luxurious hotel. But what really surprised me pleasantly were the comfort of the bed and the spaciousness and modern fixtures of the shower. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in while traveling. The location is in safe, quiet and upscaled neighborhood. But yet still within walking distance to some of the best local eateries and bars. On the down side, the hotel's bar was not really operational during my stay.
Nice and quiet hotel. Perfect for those who are looking for a perfect spot for a relaxing sleeping. Highly recommended. Wonderful hospitality, comfy rooms. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. On my next stays, I will definitely check into a Movich Chico Hotel in Sta Fe de Bogota, Colombia
My wife and I stayed nearby. We had lunch at Movich one day and the restaurant became our go to lunch place thereafter. Great service, the staff is very friendly and helpful, delicious food, and the price is more than fair. When we're back in Bogota, we will be there again.
I recently got back to NY from a leisure trip to Bogota and decided to stay at Movich Chico 97 Hotel due to the great reviews and I'm glad I did. The staff at this place is so professional, friendly, helpful & willing to go beyond to make your stay a memorable one. I will definitely be staying here again, 5 stars all the way!
My wife and I visited Colombia 🇨🇴 and stayed at the Movich. Our experience was great. The staff was very professional, accommodating, and nice. The rooms were very very nice and clean. Would definitely visit again.
Very pleased with this hotel. Very well located in the north of Bogota. They just re-opened and so far all is been great. The manager, the stuff, the rooms, the food and the overall service excels! Kudos for the chef. Another amazing Movich hotel, very recommended!
This hotel has really been exceptional! Starting from the people that work there they go above and beyond to satisfy any need, the bedroom which is very confortable with go views looking the mountains and the restaurant is also very good the food is delicious. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. So in love with Movich Chico !
Every was great. Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, very good looking rooms and environment. Snacks at the minibar were a little slow in being replaced sometimes. Wi-fi connection was solid.
If you're traveling for business and/or don't need to be close to the sites, shops or dining, then this is a good option. It's located 50 minutes from the old town, sties, museums, etc. After my conference I had one day in Bogota and this was ok for me. The price was right and service was good. I speak very little Spanish. Fortunately the front desk staff and porter spoke English well enough for clear communication. My call to room service was received by a non-English speaker who quickly put an English-speaker on the phone. My meal was delivered timely. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. LANGUAGE - Google Translate was a help at all hotels and throughout the country. Download the app before you go. DIETARY - 90% of our meals throughout Colombia including the hotel were salty and fried ie greasy. For those who like potato and plantain you're in luck. The majority of meals are served with variations of one or both. GRATUITY - Not all countries tip like the U.S. and Colombia is one of them. Tips are not expected for the most part. Tip the taxi driver 10%. Most dining out and definitely room service automatically included 10% on the bill but you can decline it. I found the friendliness and service worth it.…
Although it's not always about the view, the Movich Chico 97 offers either the view of a construction site and crane across the street, or an office building with large windows so close you could easily have a conversation. We were in an office building facing room, and literally never opened our curtains during our stay. As others have stated, not one English TV channel was offered (a "first for us"). Another "first" was our shock that a tourist-driven hotel should have virtually no fluent english-speaking associates. Getting by with a handful of words and sign language is not an ideal situation. The staff were nice and polite, but ultimately we would not return here.
