The staff are very attentive and helpful. The coffee in the lobby is strong and delicious, there’s plenty of choice on the breakfast menu - and if there’s nothing you want, they’ll make something off menu for you, the rooms were spacious and clean. Location is also great. All for only circa £40 a night! Really can’t fault anything about it. - Claire THertford, United Kingdom181 contributionsLovely hotel, breakfast needs improvement.This is a lovely hotel in good location in easy (and safe feeling) walking distance to the great Parque 93 area with loads of bars and restaurants. The room was really nice and very comfortable and spacious. There was no coffee in the room though which we were particularly surprised at being in Colombia! (there was some in reception but wasn't hot) The service in general was great and friendly, although on our first day at breakfast we were shocked after seeing the good reviews, by the surliness of the staff and the extremely slow service (also the food seemed undercooked) maybe they were having a one off bad day though as was improved the next day. If it hadn't we would have assumed it was normal and only given 3 stars! Very strangely although breakfast was included in our stay and we could in theory eat whatever we liked - they charged extra for a cup of espresso!!??!! (again, odd considering where we are!) Starting from the people that work there they go above and beyond to satisfy any need, the bedroom which is very confortable with go views looking the mountains and the restaurant is also very good the food is delicious. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet and well situated. The service was average and the common areas were adequate. I certainly didn't feel like an esteemed guest. The restaurant was the best part of my stay! Henry and his family were so nice and personable. They remembered my preferences and packed me a breakfast to take on my last day because I had to leave very early. Lovely people and good food.

Hotel's Favorite
Across a 3 week trip to Colombia, my family group of 11 people spent a total of eight nights at Movich and we were blown away. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The coffee in the lobby is strong and delicious, there’s plenty of choice on the breakfast menu - and if there’s nothing you want, they’ll make something off menu for you, the rooms were spacious and clean. Traveling to Bogota is staying at one of the Movich Hotels. Our last visit was in Buro 26, close to Dorado Airport, as well as Chico 97. Without any doubt, both are most attractive places to stay! Price, service and most of all.... friendliness!

Room facilities are at high standards. Unfortunately as in many Hotels in Colombia there are no soundproof windows, if it weren't for the excellent positioning of the location this could have been a problem. Hospitality management manners also needs improvement: usually if you are a loyalty program member (also if it was a feature declared amogst the program benefits) in a five stars Hotels as a courtesy to a guest if you leave the room one hour after the deathline check-out time the late check-out fee should be waived.

The staff at this location was attentive and exceptional in the services provided. I was impressed upon arrival by the welcome reception. I was accommodated in a very comfortable room. I have visited over 48 countries around the world and stayed in many luxurious hotel. But what really surprised me pleasantly were the comfort of the bed and the spaciousness and modern fixtures of the shower. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in while traveling. The location is in safe, quiet and upscaled neighborhood. But yet still within walking distance to some of the best local eateries and bars. On the down side, the hotel's bar was not really operational during my stay.

Nice and quiet hotel. Perfect for those who are looking for a perfect spot for a relaxing sleeping. Highly recommended. Wonderful hospitality, comfy rooms. My wife and I stayed nearby. We had lunch at Movich one day and the restaurant became our go to lunch place thereafter. Great service, the staff is very friendly and helpful, delicious food, and the price is more than fair. When we're back in Bogota, we will be there again.

I recently got back to NY from a leisure trip to Bogota and decided to stay at Movich Chico 97 Hotel due to the great reviews and I'm glad I did. The staff at this place is so professional, friendly, helpful & willing to go beyond to make your stay a memorable one. I will definitely be staying here again, 5 stars all the way!

Very pleased with this hotel. Very well located in the north of Bogota. They just re-opened and so far all is been great. The manager, the stuff, the rooms, the food and the overall service excels! Kudos for the chef. Another amazing Movich hotel, very recommended!
