This hotel is located in a cool little neighborhood with hip restaurants, cafes, and stores, though not very convenient to sightseeing or very high-end shopping areas. I like the historical nature of the building, and they did a great job combining it with the newer wing to form a beautiful courtyard where you can have a simple continental breakfast buffet in the mornings. The serivce was universally friendly and helpful. Having stayed at many Four Seasons in different parts of the world, I was a bit surprised by the Restoration Hardware furnishings and lack of amenities in the rooms -- our suite didn't have silverware, plates, glasses, etc, despite it having a kitchenette, and generally speaking the "vibe" was a bit more of a small inn rather than the Four Seasons. Warm-hearted, sure, but not as refined as I would have expected. The lovely staff made up for it, but the other Four Seasons property in town may be more geared towards those who expect a classic FS experience.…
Brief review, just to highlight the high quality of the people working here (front desk, restaurants and housekeeping - no spa yet), fantastic breakfast menu, superb keeping of this old house monument and its location, close to everything, either by walking or short taxi drive (approximately 30 minutes from airport). Covid wise, everything was handled with extreme care and strict adherence to health protocols. The new GM and its team are definitely walking the talk in regards to Four Seasons standards. Kudos!
We were fortunate enough to stay in Casa Medina for 2 weeks and wow! I never wanted to leave! The rooms were clean, beautiful, spacious, and comfortable and the location is great. However, the best part of this hotel is the amazing staff that makes you feel like family. The front desk staff, security, and bell staff went above and beyond and never made anything feel like an inconvenience. We spent time each day in the restaurant, lounge, and bar area, and the staff there is just exceptional. Iván in particular helped create an enjoyable, pleasant, welcoming environment each day - he was so professional and personable and made each experience lovely. Mauricio, Jean Paul, Juan, Santiago, and the rest of the incredible wait staff made us feel so welcome and helped us feel at “home” in Colombia. The drinks Camilo curated are probably the best I’ve ever had - each one on the menu is exceptional. And the flair and presentation while he crafted them are reason enough to visit the bar. I am in awe of the work ethic of this team and the way they all seem to take such pride and sincere enjoyment in what they do. Thank you for an incredible two weeks!…
This is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Essentially, everything you expect from a Four Seasons. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient with our poor Spanish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Casa Medina provided us one of the best hotel experiences ever. From the exceptional room with a fireplace to the world-class customer service, each part of our stay was wonderful. We stayed on the top floor of the old mansion, and the attention to detail in renovations of this part of the hotel were beautiful. We loved walking up the spiral staircase each time we returned to the room, and how quick and attentive each staff member was in helping us with cars, suggestions for shopping, and even accommodating us for an hour in a room when our flight was cancelled. Don't miss out on this hotel!
We loved everything about our time at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious - plus the hotel is in a great location for a lot of other restaurants and cafes. The staff was very kind, helpful and hospitable. We can’t wait to go back!
My wife and I came to Bogota knowing very little about the city and found the Four Seasons to be the perfect home base and launching pad for exploration. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and the daily breakfast is excellent. We stayed in room 415 and liked the ability to open the outside door and the fireplace. The location is excellent for access to restaurants and we strongly recommend Cantina y Punto and El Chato. Thank you Four Seasons Casa Medina!
Attentive staff made our three night stay comfortable. The room was nicely decorated and the fireplace was a nice perk. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of bread, fruit, cheese, sliced meats, and eggs to order options. I would have preferred more hot food options. Spa service was exceptional. Overall a very nice stay, but the cost was high for the location.
My husband and I were visiting Bogota for our 10 year anniversary and the team at the hotel made the stay a very memorable one! Warm and welcoming and attentive and went the extra mile to make us feel special and celebrated. I liked that it’s a smaller hotel, felt cozy and more intimate. Highly recommended!
Super hotel !!The Four Seasons standard is absolutely hard to beat. The service is exceptional, the quality of the products and the chambers are top of the top. The staff members are kind and make any guest feeling at home (or better)
