Very courteous staff and well equipped rooms. Great breakfast and convenient airport shuttle service. I highly recommend the Sheraton, Bogota and will look forward to returning soon. Please consider when travelling for business or pleasure. Conveniently located near the airport and very accessible to the city center.
You have to wear a swim cap to use the pool! NO CAP NO POOL. Nowhere on their website mentions that policy. The guy at the pool area says he has swimming caps and it will be charged to the room. Wth. I already paid to stay at the hotel and also wants to charge us to use the hotel's pool? UNBELIEVABLE!!
My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Bogota a few days ago and we were very impressed by the friendly staff and excellent service. They really looked after us! When we needed some help to print out COVID declaration forms to return to the US, the gentleman who was on duty in the business whose name is Jesus Franco was extremely helpful. The room was also very comfortable and clean. The food was also good. We would definitely stay there again!
After traveling the last 8 weeks in Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, Panama Beach & Cabo San Lucas. I stayed at this hotel 2 separate nights and it was the Best hotel offering full breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice, Colombian potato soup, empanadas, eggs and fruits. I am only comparing 4 & 5 stars hotels Bonvoy & Hilton. Being titanium elite they also offer a choice of free beer, wine and snack at the bar. Check in & check out was very quick. Johanna at the reception arranged free pick up from the airport and was courteous & friendly. The hotel lobby, restaurant and the room were clean & spotless. I also like the location which is close to the airport and very safe neighborhood close to shopping.
Did a 5 night pleasure trip in Bogota and decided to use my award points for the Sheraton Bogota. It was 55,000 pts for the whole 5 days, which I found to be a great deal. Even before my stay at the hotel, a friendly Facebook agent helped me arrange my free hotel shuttle and told me where to meet. Once I arrived to the airport, I was able to find the destination point where a friendly Sheraton agent told me it will take about 10-15 minutes for the shuttle to come. The shuttle came a bit later than the estimate, but was still a comfortable shuttle with a friendly and helpful driver. The drive took about 10 minutes to the hotel and was greeted to a nice entrance with a small waterfall and fountain outside and the revolving and manual doors to the inside of the hotel. There was not much of a line and a friendly agent gave me a welcome drink and checked me in within 10 minutes. As a platinum member, I was given the club floor (10), which had access to the club lounge. When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised that it was a little bigger than I thought it would be (about 300 sqft actual). The room was very clean had the needed amenities for a business class hotel. There was a very comfortable king bed, 40+ inch tv, 2 chairs, and a small working desk. The closet had ironing board and safe. However, the safe was not working, which was not a major issue for me. The window gave a nice view of the small plaza and office buildings. Was able to sleep well in the bed, but occasionally the noise of the airplanes did make it a little difficult. The bathroom was also very clean and was the perfect size for me. The shower had very nice water pressure, but occasionally took some time for the water to warm up. The toiletries was the typical Sheraton Le Grand Bain brand, which I just enjoy their scent (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash). There were also razor, combs, tooth brush as well. The housekeeping does a great job restocking the supplies and keeping the room clean. The lobby was quite nice with ample check in areas, comfy chairs, and good restaurants. The was a convention area in the back with ample meeting and ball rooms. Really enjoyed the chillax lounge music that was played here. Loved the glass elevators, but did find the card readers to break often to go to the floors. The pool and exercise room required a different elevator, which I had difficulty finding at first. But it was nice with a good sized pool and some treadmills, steppers, and bikes facing the pool. Another area had some weights and machines as well as yoga mats and balls. There was a small spa with message options. I did take the 80 minute massage for 45 dollars. The massage was fine, but ended up getting about 50 minutes instead (cut short by 30 minutes). Also, the message was by a 3rd party, so was not able to receive reward points for it. Also in the lobby was a small jewelry store and currency exchange. While the rate was ok, if you go towards the plaza, there are some with slightly better rates. There were a couple restaurants including a sushi restaurant, a small coffee shop, and a buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner. While I didn't eat at any of those restaurants, I did enjoy the breakfast and dinner at the 10th floor club lounge. For breakfast, there were plenty of fruits, pastries, cereals, hot items, coffee/tea, and natural juices. There was even an omelette and eggs station, which is rare at a club lounge. During the evenings (6 to 8), there were various hor d'oeuvres and small dessert items. The variety of food was quite generous as well that I didn't even need to go to a restaurant for dinner. The taste and quality of food was very good and the attendants were very attentive and helpful. The staff was very friendly and attentive, though some spoke very limited English. Best to use a translator. While there was no official concierge at the hotel, the front desk was very helpful in tour, cab, and restaurant assistance. The doorman and bellhops were very attentive. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would consider staying at the Sheraton again. With the friendly and attentive staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good food, and being close to the airport, this is indeed a great choice for a business or even pleasure stay hotel.…
