Sensational rooms let down by indifferent staff. The pool was out of action but we were not told until after we had checked in when we were handed a piece of paper as if there was now nothing we could do about it. More than a bit unfair. A huge tantrum on my part illicited a 35percent discount on the rate after a new front desk manager Raul took some responsibility but the damage was done I’m afraid. The business room we had was pretty stunning but it’s just as well because the staff need their hands holding at all times to make anything happen.

This boutique hotel is the epitome of style over substance. It aspires to be five star but lacks the service to come close. As other reviewers have described, problems occur too frequently, and they aren’t up to the occasion of solving them. The hotel feels like it doesn’t have anyone managing it. The front desk staff isn’t able or willing to pick up the slack. There is currently a major leak in the lobby ceiling not far from the front desk. Our room sink also had a leak. The room safe didn’t work when we arrived, despite prominent notices warning us to use it. It took three visits to repair. The desk lamp also doesn’t work, but we’re leaving that for someone else to tackle. Today, housekeeping took our used towels in the morning but didn’t replace them. When we asked for one because someone wanted to take a shower, we were told they don’t have any because they’re all at the laundry. The standard rooms are on the small side. As others have pointed out, the toilet room has a translucent door which doesn’t appeal to everyone. It is located next to the door entrance rather than as part of the bathroom. The bar and pool area on the roof is covered, which doesn’t seem a bad idea given the strength of the sun in Bogotá. The pool is more of a chic lap pool. The pool bar isn’t open and there are no staff in the area. After checking it out this morning, we came back to use it this afternoon and it’s now closed for maintenance. Another fail. The lobby bar is open but closes relatively early. I discovered that I can’t charge anything to the room because I didn’t leave a credit card at check-in, which they didn’t ask me to do. On the plus side, the showers have high pressure. The sink is very large with a large area for toiletries next to it. Tip: you have to turn the sink on to very high force (it starts filling up) to get hot water. Nice flatscreen TV. Though we are not facing the street, you can still hear noise sometimes, including at night. The included breakfast is very good with excellent service. However, for the 24 hour room service, think frozen items nuked in the microwave, though presented nicely. In sum, the hotel isn’t so much horrible as endlessly disappointing to the point of being comical. It has a hip style, but ultimately doesn’t try and verges on hopeless at times.

Amazing breakfasts and lovely service. The staff are very accommodating and the location is excellent. The hotel is clean and there is a fully stocked bar. The bathroom is a little odd - the opaque glass for the toilet is not amazing. The rooftop is nice but not groundbreaking. Lovely bars and restaurants nearby

Nice staff... We have stayed in much better hotels around the world. This Colombian hotel is definitely 5 stars. Staff friendly particular front desk manager reception Tatiana who looked to solve any issues specialist my baby. She was very kind and special to him and surprised him with a beautiful teddy toy when she saw him crying at the lobby. It was my first experience like this. We are so glad with her. I actually recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with great service and in a safe and walkable neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping within a couple blocks. Felipe’s breakfast options and a fun rooftop bar. As a first time visitor to Bogotá, couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Comfortable stay in a clean and relatively quiet location. Only stayed one night. I'll say the con was how slow breakfast service was and the front desk not being super helpful. I'd stay here again, the room and roof were nice and spacious. Room was a little dark but had a great shower.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, and convenient location. The key card didn’t work. We had to get the key card fixed every day. Be forewarned that they will charge the card you give them for your full stay on the first day. If you need to split the charges at check out it is not possible. They didn’t itemize the invoice so we had to call and get a new one.

Bogota is a busy place and B.O.G. Hotel is an oasis. Just on the edge of trendy Zona T there is lots of food and shopping just 2 blocks away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and bar are good - even a bar on the roof next to the pool.

My partner and I stayed in room 708 at the BOG for four nights in February 2023. The hotel is stylish, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The room was quite large with a huge bed and two chaise chairs. When we arrived the A/C was not working and we were provided with a fan and told to open the windows. This generally worked to keep the room comfortable throughout our stay, but the hotel staff continually closed the windows and opened the curtains, which made the room stuffy and too warm for our taste. The room had a wonderful shower and soaking tub but a very awkward and not at all private toilet arrangement. While our room had windows on three sides, two sides were very close to either apartments or office space, so not much opportunity for good views.

Well run hotel with a coherent and stylish design scheme emphasizing light and spade to good effect. Great location. Friendly staff. Restaurant is hidden gem, especially by the fireplace, with Colombian and international standards cooked with fresh ingredients and integrity.
