Bogota is a busy place and B.O.G. Hotel is an oasis. Just on the edge of trendy Zona T there is lots of food and shopping just 2 blocks away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and bar are good - even a bar on the roof next to the pool.

Hotel's Favorite
There are probably 4 great places to stay in Bogota but my favorite is the BOG Hotel. I was there over the weekend and it once again surpassed my expectations. The real difference apart from very nice rooms and common areas is the staff. I was there with a large group and everything was coordinated through Paola Ospina. She was extremely cordial, responsive and helpful--a true professional. The front desk and breakfast wait staff is great as well. You can tell everyone really enjoys their job. The buffet breakfast is nice and set in a very relaxing environment. The surrounding area is safe with some great dining venues. I would recommend Di Lucca and Osaka--you can't go wrong, I promise!! They are both about a 5 minute walk away. Remember to take an umbrella when you leave, it rains a lot in Bogota.

My partner and I stayed in room 708 at the BOG for four nights in February 2023. The hotel is stylish, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The room was quite large with a huge bed and two chaise chairs. When we arrived the A/C was not working and we were provided with a fan and told to open the windows. This generally worked to keep the room comfortable throughout our stay, but the hotel staff continually closed the windows and opened the curtains, which made the room stuffy and too warm for our taste. The room had a wonderful shower and soaking tub but a very awkward and not at all private toilet arrangement. While our room had windows on three sides, two sides were very close to either apartments or office space, so not much opportunity for good views.

Well run hotel with a coherent and stylish design scheme emphasizing light and spade to good effect. Great location. Friendly staff. Restaurant is hidden gem, especially by the fireplace, with Colombian and international standards cooked with fresh ingredients and integrity.

Stayed 10 years ago during inaugaration. Great now new ownership rooms rundown no updates. Arrived AC broken no informened out for over a week. Towels more for a gym.. bathrooms outdated. Broken handles phones rugs not up to par for a 500 dollar a night Boutique hotel. Many better options in Bogota. Steer away from this one.

The staff is professional and committed to excellent services. First time in Colombia and I felt absolutely welcome as a tech web3 founder. Special thanks to Fernando , Steven, and Alejandro. They went above and beyond late one night and opened the kitchen to serve me salad at 3 am in the morning. Thank you !!

Ridiculously bad levels of service. Please avoid! There was a loud constant sound coming from the air conditioning and the reception refused to resolve the issue. Their solution - switch off the A/C and fan. Here on a business trip, unable to sleep, most uncomfortable experience. And had to chase them for a long time to get any sort of a response. Cannot imagine a hotel that claims to be 5 stars to provide such poor service. The basic objective of being in a decent hotel is to be able to sleep comfortably and that was completely ruined by this hotel.

One of my favorite hotel experiences, I can't say enough about BOG hotel. I stayed here twice over a period of several months, and had a wonderful stay each time. The rooms are gorgeous, luxurious, incredibly comfortable. Spacious, airy, with beautiful views of the mountains and the city of Bogota. I loved the huge bathroom with rainforest shower and wonderfully-scented toiletries. Wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit and a huge range of prepared dishes and drinks. The rooftop pool is a dream. The staff was so kind and helpful. I'm still dreaming about this hotel.

We too booked the BOG based on the very up front marketing and mention of it being a 5 star. Having stayed in some amazing hotels over the years I have to be honest about the experience at the BOG...it is very good but not excellent. What's good - location (close to zona rosa and excellent for the nightlife of Bogotá). The breakfast was really good and there was at least one different dish each day. The staff are friendly and tried hard to communicate with us despite our terrible Spanish. The pool is a great asset and contrary to other reviews, we were able to access it most days (I'm not see sure why you couldn't access it after 6pm, disappointing). What could be improved - the room we stayed in was rather small (even considering we went with their basic room but a 5 star it was not), there was no sink in the toilet, the air conditioning was pathetic and we were incredibly hot most nights, and the decor was ok but very corporate business like, not comfy boutique as they promote. Overall a good option to stay in Bogotá but a little over-hyped and priced for what it is.

Chic, trendy hotel located in a great location in Bogotá. Walking distance to shops and restaurants which is a bonus. We checked in late around 2am when we landed. Room did not have working air conditioning. They gave us a fan for the night and said it will be fixed in the morning. We asked again the next morning and they sent a maintenance guy. They kept telling us it was fixed and when we went up it was still not fixed. We requested a different room but they insisted hotel was full even though it was not. This went on for hours and when we finally lost our temper and wanted to cancel our reservation they magically found us a new room. Throughout this whole exchange there were no apologies from hotel staff for the inconvenience caused by the faulty AC unit. This hotel came highly recommended by our friends who stayed here previously. It fell very, very short of expectations. Worst customer service ever in a 5 star hotel. You can do better to stay in the other luxury hotels in the area for the same price.
